Bulldogs edge Bears in 10-inning thriller
In a tense, 10-inning thriller in the winner's bracket finale of the Berks County League Playoffs, the Bulldogs broke a 5-5 tie on a wild pitch, then added an insurance run on a sacrifice fly to edge the Bears, 7-5. The Bulldogs tallied 3 runs in the first inning, but the Bears rallied to tie the game with a run in the second and two in the sixth. Each time scored a run in the first two extra innings before the Bulldogs scored their 2 runs in the tenth inning. Sam Morris had 2 hits and scored 3 runs for Norchester, while Cole Kratz had 3 hits for Boyertown.
