Chesterfield Jumps Out Early and Coasts to 13-1 Win

On a beautiful day in Myrtle Beach, Radnor took an early lead but was quickly overwhelmed by the local Chesterfield HS of South Carolina. Lilah Demmy came on in relief and pitched a steady3 2/3 innings, striking out 4 along the way. The Raiders had taken an early lead when Audrey Rosenblum led off by getting hit by a pitch, was sacrificed to 2B by Emma Dalkin before scoring on a 2-out single by Grace Remphrey. Unfortunately Radnor mustered only singles by Sophia Royle and Tess Massaro the rest of the way.

The Raiders will enjoy a day off on Tuesday before playing their last game in Myrtle on Wednesday morning.
