Coach John Aldave's Catonsville Crush made a fine showing in the USSSA Mid Summer Challenge this weekend, finishing third in the 10 & Under "All Stars" Division. Congratulations Crush!
Congratulations to the 14U 2015 CML Champions Catonsville Chaos
Congratulations to Pat Brady and his 14U Chaos team for winning the CML Championship on Sunday July 12th. The girls won two games in pool play Saturday and three in championship play Sunday to claim the title. Coach Brady praised the performance calling it a complete team effort with clutch plays and great defense from each girl in the lineup. Chaos won the championship game by a final score 6-5 over the North Carroll Hotshots.
You might recognize a lot of these girls - 12 of the 13 roster spots are held by girls who have played Catonsville Rec softball for CGS. Congratulations everyone!

CGS Alum Wins Outstanding Pitching Award
Congratulations to former CGS player Maggie K for her recent success at the USSSA 10U "C" Nationals Tournament in Salisbury, MD. Her team finished 2nd overall, being edged out in the final by just one run. Maggie was awarded the Tournament Outstanding Pitcher Award for her performance over eight games. Congratulations Maggie!

UPDATE: This Catonsville Chaos B team and the Catonsville Crush team posted below finished 1st and 4th respectively in the Maryland USSSA Fast Pitch 12U Rec All Star rankings. It's a tremendous accomplishment for two of the top four teams in the state to come from the same rec program, which just confirms what we already knew - CGS ROCKS!!! Thanks everyone for helping make it such a great season. Let's keep it going in 2016!
What a great tournament season from CGS players and coaches! Tim Marsiglia's CGS 12U Rec All Star team posted a 5-0 record to win the Howard County Summer Sizzler Tournament this weekend, adding to the list of accomplishments from our girls this season. Way to go everyone!
