Rainout Procedures

In case of bad weather, our priority is the safety of players, coaches, and spectators.

• Decision Before 5:00 PM: If rain is forecasted or starts before 5:00 PM, games will be canceled by 5:00 PM.
• Decision After 5:00 PM: If it starts raining after 5:00 PM, the decision to cancel games will be made at game time.
• Communication: Updates will be posted on our website Home Page, Facebook page, and our league telephone at 972-276-5483.

How to set up Text Alerts from Garland Girls Softball:

• Go to Garland Girls Softball website
• Click on LOGIN to MYLEAGUELINEUP
• Enter your EMAIL ADDRESS and PASSWORD and click ON LOGIN.
• Click COMMUNICATIONS tab
• Click TEXT ALERTS
• Click RAINOUT
• Click SAVE CHANGES
• Click MANAGE PHONES tab
• Verify your phone number Status or ADD A NEW PHONE
• You may also click on the SCHEDULE REMINDERS tab to get reminders about game scheduling
• Click LOGOUT
