FANS/PARENTS, COACHES, and PLAYERS:
-
NO FANS/PARENTS/spectators will be allowed to ARGUE, SWEAR, or USE ABUSIVE LANGUAGE towards the umpire(s), other parents, other fans, coaches, or any players at any time. Coaches will be responsible for controlling their players parents/fans.

FANS/PARENTS/SPECTATORS will be asked to leave the ball park.

Depending on the reason, the ejection from the ball park may require the Vernal Youth Baseball board's approval to return to the property.

If Fan/ Parent/Spectator does not leave immediately and police are called you may be issued a criminal trespass from the ball park for a time to be determined by the Vernal Youth Baseball board.

If the coach has a question on the rules, please approach the umpires with respect and low level voice. NO YELLING, SWEARING or the USE OF ABUSIVE LANGUAGE at the umpire at any time will be allowed.

If the umpire is not calling the game with the correct rules or interpretation of rules.

Ask for time

Bring the rule in question to the umpire

If the president, league president or umpire in chief is available in a timely manner, the game will be suspended (time will continue to run). And the final decision will be made at that time.

If the president, league president or umpire in chief are not available then play will resume and a decision will be made at a later time within 24 hours by the Vernal Youth Baseball Board.

NO FIGHTING AMONG SPECTATORS will be tolerated at any time.

You will be asked to leave and will not be able to return without board approval.

Any police involvement may result in both parties being criminally trespassed and or charges being filed.

Coach/ Player being abusive to Umpire(s)

First is a warning (but can be escalated to dismissal from the game if the umpire deems it severe enough to do so)

The coach/ player (players parents) may be contacted by Vernal Youth Baseball board member(s) to give formal warning depending on the severity of the circumstances.

Progression as outlined in subsection ii.

The second incident in the same game, the coach/ player will be dismissed from the game.

The coach must leave the playing area immediately and cannot direct their team in any manner.

The player must leave the playing area immediately.

Any actions deemed criminal will be turned over to Vernal City police.

The coach/player may be subject to a Vernal Youth Baseball board review before they can resume coaching duties or being able to resume as a player.

Termination from coaching duties. Current and or future. Resume at the approval of the Vernal Youth Baseball board.

The player may be subject to Vernal Youth Baseball board approval to resume play.
