PS101 Prospects Teams May 10-12
PS101 Prospects teams had a great weekend. Not only did the 2010 win an exciting overtime Gold Championship but the Midget team found their stride and won the Gold championship as well. PS101 Prospects teams 2004 lost in the Platinum final and the 2007 team lost in the Gold Final to cap a great weekend.
The Infamous King of the Rings
There is a huge desire by all players and parents to enter and win the King of the Rings tournament to win "The Ring". Late Thursday night with the help of Garry Ewing a team was assembled to enter into the tournament the very next day. I committed to the tournament only having 8 players on board we ended up with 13, lucky 13, the right 13.
The competition was strong only one team that couldnt compete and we ended up in a 3 way tie for first place. The tiebreaker saw us get seeded number 1 and a easier path to the finals which we easily won 11-0 to face the Pirates, a team of many Guelph Gryphon AAA players a team we had a lively win against in round robin the kicker was this was on rink 1 at York which is a very big rink and we had a short bench
A very close game and the team came together did what was needed and was the better team earning the victory and the coveted ring. This never gets old and I have been lucky enough to be in on several of these wins and had other teams win it the heart of a hockey player comes out in this tournament.
Thanks to all involved, Garry Ewing on his great recruiting of TNT players, Andrew Parsons who helped coach all weekend, the parents who I am sure much rather be outside in the hot weather but rather spent is in the cool arena cheering their boys on and of course the players who this never would have happened without all they brought to each and every shift of every game. I did not know many of them but I can tell you this they ALL could play on my team any time.
PS101 Prospects 2005 King of Rings Champs
PS101 Prospects 2005 team has always had great success at the KOR tournament. The coveted ring never gets old and the boys want to win every year. Last year they played the same named team and lost well this year they got retribution winning their second KOR Championship in 3 years!!!
A great effort by all from the goaltending to defence to forwards the key players stepped up and got it done!!! Great job players and coach Dawe on a great way to end the tournament season.!!!!!!

PS101 Prospects 2005 Back to Back Championships
After the last tournament this team was riding a high having gone undefeated and winning the championship they were poised to make a run in Niagara Falls. The winning game to an abrupt end when the team lost its first two games. That did not stop this team and they went on to win every game 2 round robins and 2 playoffs to capture the Platinum Championship completing the back to back wins. This was not done without some battles as they suffered a big loss of one of their tp defenceman and another injury to the teams best player but in the end with some terrific goal tending by finals player of the game Colton Dawe they pulled off the win against some very good teams.
This team will try to pull off a 3 peat as they still have the King of the Rings to compete in hoping to not only complete the threepeat but win back to back KOR.
Great job players and coaches

I am proud to provide this email received from a member of the PS101 Prospects 2003 team from last spring it says it all and why PS101 is the place for your player to play
Hi all!
Just a quick note to say that I hope everyone’s season is off to a healthy and successful start.
I ran into Jeremy a few weeks ago here in Aurora and I have to say that I’m already excited for another Spring Hockey experience like we just had!
I’ve been meaning to drop a quick email to share a very quick story…
During our 2 day training camp, I hand the players out a “questionnaire” to answer. I ask them what they think they want to work on this season, favorite hockey player, etc… One of the questions was to name 3 highlights from their summers.
The “Aurora Boys” that played with us last season all listed their PS101 hockey team as one of their 3 highlights! With everything else they did during their summers, I was pretty impressed to see that each independently had their spring hockey experience on their lists.
Enjoy the season everyone!
Cheers,
Mike
PS101 Prospects 2003 Loss in Platinum Semi Finals
The PS101 Prospects 2003 team is shaping up to be a tight knit close team with a lot of talent. They have been quietly putting together a very impressive spring season and no better way to close it out then in Niagara Falls. The team went undefeated in a very skilled division seeing several teams doing the same. The Platinum Semi Finals seen them up against the number one ranked team the Hawks who proved to be a bit better although I am sure the boys would love to try them again.
Regardless a fantastic season with the team compiling an impressive record of 11-4-1, with 2 Championships and a semi finalist. I want to thank all the players and parents and Coach Murdock his staff and his wife Michelle who does a terrific job keeping every one in the know and hope to have you all back again next season. Thanks again!!
PS101 Prospects 2004 Niagara Falls
This team and lets be clear the team is all of the players, the coaches and the parents made way to Niagara Falls for the third straight year as the highlight tournament of their spring season. This is as tight a group as there is and they are very good at what they do and that is play together and have fun together. This year they decided they wanted to move up and play at the top which in spring hockey is no easy feat as most teams are quite stacked but this group just seems to find a way to get it done.
They finished the round robin with a good record and headed into the Platinum Semi Finals against a team they had already played and beat. Unfortunately it was just not with them this day as they lost the game but still leave the season with a terrific record while moving up a level. They finished there season 10-5-1 with 1 Championship 1 finalist and one semi finalists.
I would like to thank everyone with this team from Coach Irvine to all of the players and all of the parents for all there years of supporting PS101 Prospects teams and setting the bar of what spring hockey is about. I sure hope they will all be back next year for another year and perhaps stepping it up to do a showcase or two tournament which I know they would do very well in.. Thanks again.
PS101 Prospects 2009
Close but not quite. An exciting weekend for the PS101 Prospects teams in Niagara Falls. Most teams were finishing up there seasons at the popular tournament spot ion Niagara Falls. Coach Scovell has been making ways with this team and they went out with a great finish. After completing the round robin play they earned a birth in the Championship. An exciting game resulted in a one goal loss to the Wolfpack team 4-3 a team they had beat in the round robin play. Great effort by all involved and a great weekend in Niagara Falls. Hope to have everyone back for next year!!!
PS101 Prospects Jr College Cup
Once again PS101 Prospects enter a Jr aged team of Caledon Prospects and Jr Players looking to keep on the ice. The team was relatively new and things took a while to get going after suffering an open game 5-1 loss to what turned out to be the eventual Champions. Game two the team faired a lot better and beat 83 Clouts 5 - 1 finsihing day 1 with a 1 win and 1 loss record.
Day two we were up against RP Hockey a team of Elliot Lake NOJHL prospects a team we had beaten in the finals at Niagara Falls. Both teams sporting different lineups we skated to a 6-4 win. Our last game put us up against CHE and a dominating game resulted in a 3-1 win kudos to the CHE goalie who kept it close. We finished in a 5 way tie for first and were slotted 3rd as we headed into the final 7 play downs.
Unfortunately the boys were not ready for a very hard working Premier Hockey team who scored early and kept going beating us 5 -1. All in all a decent performance and an opportunity to not only see players of interest but to showcase players to other teams.
PS101 Prospects 2007 Champs!!!
PS101 Prospects 2007 ended their first year spring tournament season on a huge note. Not only did they win their first game of the season during round robin play they also went on to win an over time thriller to win the Silver Championship with Sebastian Ferris completing his hat trick to take home the championship!!!! Congratulations players and staff!!!!
I would like to thank the players and parents and trust they had a great experience. Coaches Walker and Irivne did a fantastic job with a small lineup which we will look to bolster next year.
PS101 Prospects 2004 Champs
The PS101 Prospects team are a real bunch of beauties. This is the team of all teams and a team that to a person wishes this was there year round team. Beloved Coach Craig Irvine certainly knows the recipe for success and the men keep everyone on the edge of their seats as one never knows what to expect other then having fun and .........winning.
This weekend was no different this team went back to back over time wins to win the championship in a great game against a very good Bull Dawgs team. As you can see this is a team that plays together, has fun together and celebrates together spring hockey couldnt get any better just ask anyone on that team
PS101 Prospects 2003 Champs
PS101 Prospects 2003 team is shaping up to be a very good hockey team. With great leadership on the bench and in the managerial position this team is just starting to hit their stride. The team went all the way to the Platinum Championship winning a thrilling game 5-3 against a strong Niagara Polarz team.
Aiden Charlebois lead the team and the division in this tournament in points with a huge supporting cast of forwards defence and goal tending. Congratulations players and coaches next up Niagara Falls
Quest for the Cup
PS101 Prospects teams 2009, 2007, 2004, 2005 all competed this past weekend in the Quest for the Cup tournament. As already seen the 2005 and 2009 team both brought home championships.
The 2004 team decided they wanted to push themselves a bit more this year and entered into a higher level division. Even though they lost in the semi finals they really showed they can compete at this higher level.
The 2007 team is a new team to spring hockey and are competing with a light lineup of only 11 skaters. While they were not able to win any games improvement is seen each and every game. Next tournament the team will have two new players added to lineup so this will help. Keep working it takes time
PS101 Prospects 2005 Champions
The PS101 Propsects 2005 team went wire to wire finishing with a perfect record of 5 wins and 0 losses taking the Championship Game 5 - 0 over Brampton DSC. This was a great bounce back effort after a tough opening tournament. Chase Coughlan lead the way not only having the highest point total in the division but in all of the weekends teams.
Great job players and coaches!!!
PS101 Prospects 2003 Silver Champs
PS101 Prospects 2003 finally got it together and played a complete game taking the Silver Championship 3-2!! Aiden Charlebois with 2 goals lead the way with Shayne Woodlock shutting the door in net. Way to go team and coaches great start!!!
PS101 Prospects 2009
For new teams to spring hockey it sometimes can be a frustrating climb into the champions circle and while the 2009 team is certainly showing improvement each and every game there is some tough competition out there. I am proud to say the boys of that team continue to work and it was rewarded with winning the Bronze Championship. Great job players and coaches.
Here are the player of the game awards -

PS101 Prospects 2005 team starts the spring season off by winning the Silver Championship!!!
Great job all players and coaches!!!!
PS101 Prospects Jr team competed this past weekend at the Bauer Niagara Showcase Challenge. The team is made up of my core players from my Caledon Golden Hawks team together with some CGH prospects as well as some players who just want to keep on ice.
We finished the round robin in first place going 4 wins with 0 losses. Our first game of the eliminations put us against a very good team Pittsuburgh Union who is no stranger to this tournament having won it before and losing in finals last year. We had to face them without one of our key players who went down with tonsilitis but the late game heroics by Marc Simmonetta scoring with just 18 seconds left gave us the ticket to the finals.
In the finals it was 2 teams who had not lost a game all weekend so someone was going to lose for the first time. We spotted them a 2 - 0 lead and then the men started to work and use their speed culminating with a beauty by Dante Zuccaro to put us up 3 - 2. We were able to hand on to become the 2018 Bauer Niagara Showcase Challenge Champions.
Our weekend saw us with 6 wins 0 losses 33 goals for and 11 against.
Goal - David Giancola (99), Nico Fekete (00)
Defence - Darius Kondrotas (98) Justin Storseth (01) Hunter Frederick (01) Trevor Costello (98) Jake Semmens (99) Adam Magliozzi (00)
Forwards - Matt Magliozzi (97) Kory Lund (01) Sean Nottle (97) Marc Simmonetta (97) Ryan Smith (99) Ben Carter (02) Mathiau Young (97) Dante Zuccaro (99) Ben Taylor (01) Andrew Woods (97) Brad Arnott (01) Robert Irvine (01) Evan Spencer (99)
Staff - Stan Kondrotas Sandy Bell Jason Semmens John Taylor

KING OF THE RINGS 2001 CHAMPS
A great way to end the spring season is playing in the King of the Rings tournament. The better way is to win it!!! Coach Curtis Storseth who has been with PS101 Prospects since day one took the 2001 team into the playdowns first facing the Young Guns a team who seem to have our number beating us 3 times straight including a 3 0 win against us in round robin play. They were ranked number 1 we were ranked number 4. Coach Curtis had the boys ready for this one as they skated to an impressive 7 2 win to make it to the finals.
For me this is quite exciting as my 2008 team had already won the coveted "Rings" earlier that day so the thought of a double header was impressive. Will the men and coaches never let anyone coming away with a 2 1 win to earn the "Rings"!!!!! This is so awesome as I have been there with my 99 and 98 teams winning it twice so I know how pumped everyone is to win the "RING" including us coaches.
Congratulations Coach Curtis and staff and most of all the players who responded and executed when the title was on the line. Dont tell me they dont think this was great just look at the pictures below with many more on the album pages

Not only did they win there third straight championship but they also have won the last three straight years at Niagara Falls!!!! Head coach Craig Irvine and his staff and players and parents continue to grow both on the ice and off the ice. This year the team went 13 wins 2 loses 2 ties had a gf of 56 and only 18 ga simply outstanding. Congratulations to all have a wonderful summer hope to see you all back next year to go 4 for 4.
PS101 Prospects at TEP Showcase
PS101 Prospects Jr team was looking for a repeat of our first year last year in this excellent Jr tournament. Last year we finished in the final 16 of 32 teams and made it to the semi finals losing out to the eventual winners. This years team looked to be even better we were solid at all positions and it was nice to welcome back some players who played for the PS101 Prospects a few years back.
The team started strong skating to a 7 2 over Ontario Stingrays and 5 3 win over CHE White to finish the first day 2 0 0. Our second day featured two top 16 teams from last year. We then ran into a very rough game with JT Prospects and earned a tie before closing out with a 7 1 romp of Horseshoe Prospects finishing the round robin first in our division and 7th ranked in the top 16 with a 3 0 1 record.
Unfortunately we ended up matched against the same team we tied during the round robin JT Prospects White and once again it showed how evenly matched the teams were finishing regulation time tied 1 1 heading into 3 on 3 overtime. I thought we had it a couple times right off the face off as we missed great chances but as luck would have it they went down and scored to end the game.
Disappointed we all were but I am very pleased with the players of this team they gave their all and thats hockey. I hope they will all be back save our fantastic goalie Tyler Richardson who will be aged out for this tournament next year
Goal - Tyler Richardson
Defence Darius Kondrotas, Chris Taylor, Matt Prucha, Jeb Paulsen, Amadeo Mastrangeli, Brady Enman, Forwards Jordi Jefferson, Noah Dollo, Ethan Ramsden, Xavier Drummond, Connor May, Adam Trotman, Curtis Rawn, Cam Cochrane, Jorand Taylor, Nick Sribny, Brock Welsh, Jackson Arcan
Special congratulations for Darius Kondrotas and Curtis Rawn for being selected to the Top Prospects Alstar game.
Thanks everyone especially Jamie Jefferson and John Prucha who helped out considerably on the bench all weekend.
PS101 Prospects 2003 beat team Sweden
It was a great honour to be asked to have my PS101 Prospects 2003 team play an exhibition friendly against a team from Sweden. Not often do you get to play teams from other countries and a team from Sweden is surely a great tune up match for the team before they go compete in the Mini Chowder Cup in Boston July 28- 30.
Well the boys played an excellent game despite being a bit short as a few were unable to attend and skated to a 3 - 0 win. One of our teams parents was nice enough to get Canadian stick pins that were given to each Swedish player.
Great work every one.
PS101 Prospects Mini Camp
As part of PS101 desire to provide simply the best to its clients this years midget program included a 3 day mini camp featuring twice a day 1 1/2 hour sessions on ice with James Richmond Head Coach and GM of the OHL Missisauga Steelheads. JR is simply the best I have been friends with him a very long time and watched him grow as a coach and a instructor taking teams from the bottom to the top everywhere he went earning OJHL Coach of the year twice as well as winning a Stanley Cup while being skating instructor for the LA Kings of the NHL.
I asked JR to run these sessions as if it were a Steelheads practice, instructing the boys on system work in all areas - defensive, neutral and offensive zones teaching them where to be with and without the puck. I watched each passing day players adapt to it very well and educating them on the needs of today's elite players and how they must compete each and every time they did a drill. This was simply a fantastic learning camp for these players as well as giving the opportunity to showcase themselves to a GM of a OHL team where a Midget Draft could see them chosen.
I want to thank JR for this and next year I want to expand on this. We did this with my 2003 team and I strongly feel this is an opportunity for all of the above and something you do not want to miss
PS101 Prospects King of Rings Champions
PS101 Prospects 2005 team entered the King of the Rings tournament with some of the players from the spring program and some newer players who wanted to play with buddies and have a chance to win the "Ring" Well Coach Dawe had the boys flying they went undefeated winning all 6 games to win the Championship!!! This tournament is one to experience and you can see by the pictures the players and coaches loved it and I am sure all the parents did to. Congratulations everyone!!!!
PS101 Prospects Midget King of Rings Champs
Coach Storseth had a game plan and the players executed it to win the King of Rings Championship for the second year in a row. The team went undefeated executing the whole way to win the presstigious ring. Congratulations players and coaches it is hard to win once but back to back is an awesome way to complete the PS101 Prospects Midget Showcase Program!!!

PS101 Prospects 2005
Well the first tournament of the season is in the books and the boys came together and won the Silver Championship! This is a first year team, that is common with my first year teams struggled out of the gates with getting enough players to field a team. Players are from all over, with different backgrounds in the caliber of player they are but all sharing the love of the game.
The first tournament of the year usually sees some unbalanced divisions so everything must be kept in perspective. This team when facing teams of equal level showed they were the best in that regard this weekend. Many want to play for the best teams, play with the best players, but it is a life lesson to learn to work with what you have, make the best of the moments help, encourage and be a team person, look at the good not the bad.The smiles on the faces after this win, the new friendships already beginning to be made, how players and this team got better with each passing game as the weekend went on is what this team, this program and the hockey journey is.
Way to go players and coaches this team will just keep getting better.
PS101 PROSPECTS JR TEAM
PS101 Prospects Jr team was just put together for this tournament with it being the first time I have put together a team to compete in a Jr A,B,C tournament and a first at the TEP Showcase. These tournaments feature many current Jr players and others who are trying to make Jr teams. There are many Jr A, B, C teams represented and playing in these tournaments and with 32 teams entered into the TEP I knew the competition would be tough.
I carefully selected many players from my client list who have skated with me for a number of years. While we can choose players as old as 1996 year born we had a team full of 1999 and 1998 players with 1 1997 players. There were 16 brackets with 4 games to play to qualify for the top 16 you must finish first or second in your division. PS101 ended up with 4 wins and 0 loses one of four teams to do so of the 32 teams entered qualifying 4th.
Sunday is a gruelling day with the possibility of playing 4 games in one day. The team had lost a good forward with a hand injury so double duty was put on our centre men. Our first game was 830 am against JR Prospects Red a team of Aurora Tigers Prospects. We skated to a 4 - 0 shut out win for outstanding goalie Oli Lafrenierre with some highlight goals by Tyler Burnie both on one shift to move on to the final 8. Unfortunately we lost a quality defencemen with an elbow injury so we entered out next game 2 hours latter with 8 forwards and 5 defence.
Our next opponent was the much heralded Team Jamaica. This is a very good team of players with several Jr A players on it. It was an exciting game and we once again skated to a 2 - 1 win. This was a close game with an Andy Baker picture goal standing up into the final minutes of the game when we scored an empty netter followed quickly by a Team Jamaica goal but we held on for the win and advanced to the final 4.
We literally just finished the game took off their skates walked to the next rink and had 30 minutes to rest before hitting the ice for the third game of the day against the number one ranked team Elliot Lake Wildcats a very big team with a great majority of there winter team and many older players. We hung in there going down 2 -0 with 4 secdonds left in the first game back with a penalty shot and kept it to 2 -1 until the final 5 minutes of the game when they scored two nice goals to win 4 - 1.
I was so proud of these young men who represented PS101 so well. They were undermanned not rested but played their hearts out I could not ask for more we really showed everyone just how good these players are. We finished with a record of 6 wins and 1 loss, finished top 4 out of 32 teams this is outstanding!!!!
There isnt a player who did not play fantastic this is the best team I have ever had the pleasure of coaching and can only hope to do this again with them or another group next year. To the TEP Showcase organizers this is a fantastic tournament well run and very well attended by teams players and scouts to me a must for PS101 every year moving forward. Thank you for having us.
Goal - Oli Lafrenierre, David Donner
Defence - Darius Kondrotas, Chris Taylor, Matt Prucha, Mitch Mcewan, Jeb Paulsen, Luka Capin, Kyle Linney
Forwards - Tyler Burnie, Jordi Jefferson, Andy Baker, Jackson Arcan, Jordan Taylor, Lucas Jefferey, Nick Charron, Brad Mcewan, David Madsen
Coaches - Stan Kondrotas, Royal Taylor, Jamie Jefferson, John Prucha
PS101 Prospects 2003
The season for PS101 Prospects 2003 has come to an end with a huge performance during Summer Meltdown tournament this weekend. The team went start to finish undefeated 5 wins 0 losses to claim the Championship with a dominating 7 2 win over arch rivals Team Canada. This was bitter sweat as last year we had lost to them in the finals in Niagara Falls.
This years team faced many challenges along the way, the team had been moved up a division, there was contact for the first time, we had several under agers on the team and during the course of the season we lost a few players. Recruitment was key and the replacements were awesome and sometimes we had to play short but that's the way it goes.
This team along with the 2001 team are first adapters to the PS101 Prospects family. Coach Royal Taylor has been with the team since day 1 and between him and his wife I could not ask for a better representation of PS101 they simply treat all players as if they were their own and their generousity is second to none. Add son Ryan Taylor to the bench and with the help from time to time of Jeff Moutlon coaching was outstanding. Thank you to all I am hopeful Coach Royal will be back for a 4th year.
Players and parents are key to any team, this is spring hockey and understanding that is important, while winning is the goal fun is just as important and having a coach be able to coach teach and provide life lessons along the way is the key to teh PS101 progam. This group was as good as they come everyone enjoyed each weekend at the rink and supported the staff I thank you all.
Next year we have big plans for the PS101 Prospects 2003 team, we are seriously looking at a tournament in Boston at the famous Chowder Cup and look to see a number of changes forth coming in personnel. It is not surprising so many want to be part of this group and we look to be even better next year.
A couple pictures from this winning weekend.
TEP TOP PROSPECTS GAME
Congratulations to PS101 Prospects Jr Team members Darius Kondrotas and Jordi Jefferson for being selected and playing in the TEP Top Prospects game. Both players registered an assist in the game and played very well. Way to go men!!!
PS101 Prospects 2008 CHAMPS!!!!!!
Well deserved and well earned the PS101 Prospects 2008 team completed a great weekend going undefeated winning a great finals game 4 -3 against the Niagara Vipers!!!!! For Coach Murdock and staff and many of the players and parents who endured a long season last year it was great to hear they not only have improved their overall record this year to 9 - 1 but won their first championship!!!!!! Pictures speak a million words way to go boys!!!!!!
PS101 PROSPECTS 2005
The season came to an end for the PS101 Prospects 2005 team on a winning note taking the Silver Championship at the Niagara Challenge. This was a completely new team this year and had some growing pains with number of players but in the end the players came together and did very well. Thanks to Head Coach Brian Dawe for stepping up and taking the team on and doing a great job. Thanks to Assistants Ryan Gainer and Jeff Sanders and manager David Brownlee. I fully expect the team to come back bigger and better and will move early on recruitting players so we have a fulls quad next year. Thanks to all the parents for supporting this years team
PS101 Prospects 2006
The season has come to an end for PS101 Prospects 2006 team and Head Coach Matt Norris losing in the Silver finals at Summer Meltdown. It was an uphill battle for Matt from the start but Matt was able to recruit enough players to field a team and competed at every tournament they were in. This was very encouraging for PS101 and Matt and will see next years recruitting starting even earlier. Thanks to Matt for all the hard work and the players and parents who supported PS101 this spring.

PS101 is very proud to announce that Coach Curtis Storseth will be returning for a third straight year. Coach Curtis has been a great addition to PS101 Prospects teams and has been hands on with his PS101 Prospects 2001 team building them into a very competitive team that many cant wait to get back playing with. Welcome back Coach Curtis!!!!
PS101 PROSPECTS 2003
PS101 is very proud to announce that Coach Royal Taylor will be returning for a third straight year coaching the PS101 Prospects 2003 team. Coach Royal and his wife Linda have been huge supporters of PS101 and you will not find better people. Both go beyond the call of duty in helping with the team and I couldnt be happier knowing they are returning for another season. Welcome back Coach Royal!!!
PS101 PROSPECTS 2004
PS101 is proud to confirm that Coach Craig Irvine will return to coach the PS101 Prospects 2004 team. Last year the 2004 team enjoyed fantastic success. Good coaching is an asset to have and Coach Craig is definetely that. Welcome back Coach Craig!!!
PS101 PROSPECTS 2008
PS101 is proud to announce that Coach Mike Murdock will be returning to coach the PS101 Prospects 2008 team. Last year was a first for this age group and a first for many who had never played in a game before. We look for Coach Mike to build on that and have a great season. Welcome back Mike!!
PS101 Prospects 2008 Win!!!!!
The old saying of saving the best for last certainly applies here. As a team made of players who never have really played an organize game of hockey the task was huge and the agenda was to educate, teach, instruct and prepare these future hockey stars for their first upcoming hockey season. Coach Murdock and his staff despite the set backs and one sided affairs kept the ship straight and all the hard work culminated in a huge first win at just the right time to complete the tournament season on a winning note.
KING OF THE RINGS 2008
PS101 Prospects put together a 2008 team this season. The players on this team had never really played any organized games and what PS101 was trying to do was use this hockey season as an educating process for the players to allow them to learn what playing in games is all about. Coach Murdock and his staff have worked real hard preparing the players in practices and games.
Heading into the King of the Rings is not an easy task as this tournament has teams that are going into it to win and most have played in games before and have a year of that under their belt. The Prospects team did not fair very well but it was encouraging to see that they never stopped trying, they were able to score a couple of goals, they kept a game close and they are gaining valuable playing time which in the long run will be a bonus for them heading into their winter seasons.
Here are a few pictures I was able to get and it is very evident to see the coach and staff has them listening and preparing and they were competing. One more tourney to go with a hoped better chance and continued learning of the game.
KING OF THE RINGS MIDGETS
PS101 Prospects Midget team decided to enter the King of the Rings. For the 98 players that were able to play this was the first time these Prospects were able to play in this tournament. This was also the last tournament the 98's will play in the Canlan tournaments so it was nice to have some of the players who have played many times together back for one last hurrah. For the 99 group we have entered and won the KOR before 2 years ago but were still feeling the loss of last year so we came ready for retribution.
We started strong with an opening 4 1 win and then found a way to come back to tie our second game 4 -4 then easily won the third 5 - 1 to finish undefeated and in first heading into the playdowns. Sunday came and we were going to see if we were ready or not as with this group it was really hard to tell in the room.
The men were ready and skated to a 7 - 3 win in the semis and then won the Ring with a great finals game winning 5 2. Undefeated and winning the fourth straight tournament this year for a 99 or 99/98 PS101 Prospect team.
It really makes me smile to hear the players on the bench, they love this game and we had so much fun the whole weekend. To listen to the comments on the bench and see Darius come off laughing after nailing a player, Waliko getting filled and everyone laughing, the Arcan toe drag on a 3 on 1 and Jordis commentary, having more players in the penalty box then on the bench, we all had to laugh, this was so much fun for not only them but for us coaches too. One of the highlights was Wailikos first goal of the tourney fitting on his birthday Sunday where everyone pulled back the congratulations as he skated down the bench was priceless. So many more this is such a special group to coach.
And if you dont think these players wanted to play and wanted to win that Ring you should have seen them all wanting that Ring before I could get them out of the box. This is why I do this the reward of being part of this and watching these players have fun and develope into men, players and friends is awesome.
I want to thank all the parents and players of this group and all groups for the Midget 99/98 or just 99 teams we entered into tournaments this year. From the Collingwood win to the huge win against Team Jamaica to the winning of the King fo the Rings you have supported your sons and PS101 I am truly grateful for that.
I want to thank coaches Chris Butcher, Royal Taylor and of course Jamie Jefferson from the other tournaments you all help in ways you wil never know. You have all been a big part of PS101 success.
I have been lucky enough to have what I will call "lifers" with PS101. The 99's - Xavier, Didier, Cam, John, Jeb, Dylan, Brayden, Brett, Jake, Curtis - you have been players who played in that very first season of PS101 Prospects in Canlan tournaments, some I have had the pleasure of instructing you team most all attend my sessions throughout the year, you have all worked so hard and supported PS101 and represented them so well thank you all.
For the 98's so very close to me as this is my sons age - Darius, Jordi, Chris, Carson, David, Noah, Kyle, Curtis, Will - you guys have been there the longest some more then others and it is so nice to see you all developing into great hockey players. You will always be PS101 Prospects and I cant thank you all enough you make this so easy for me.
You are all special players who have special parents and of course have special coaches. When you have leaders like this you will have great teams and from the Chowder Cup to this last tournament King of the Rings you have proved it. Thank you
Goalies - David Donner, Brayden Butcher
Defence - Darius Kondrotas, Chris Taylor, Carson Gandy, Noah Bray,
Jeb Paulsen, Spencer Hyatt
Forwards Jordi Jefferson, Xavier Drummond, Cam Cochrane, Didier Keonigs, John Arrizza,
Dylan Welsh, Jackson Arcan, Matt Wailiko, Nick Scribny
Coaches Chris Butcher, Royal Taylor, Stan Kondrotas
PS101 PROSPECTS MIDGETS CHAMPS!!!!
PS101 Prospects Midget team had the honour this weekend to play against Team Jamaica in the finals featuring the 2 best teams in the tournament. As I was explained this is a team that will represent Jamaica in future international hockey events. This weekend was a try out for players to have future opportunities to represent Jamaica. The team featured many of the best AAA players in the province and was coached by Toronto Maple Leafs Skating Instructor Graham Townsend.
In a great rematch PS101 Prospects backed by superb goaltending and a great attack won 4 3 to claim the championship. It was a very good game and we certainly look forward to playing them again.
Representing PS101 Prospects Championship team were - G - David Donner - Championship Game MVP, Defence - Darius Kondrotas, Chris Taylor, Noah Bray, Matt Pruccha, Jordan Russell, Kyle Linney, F - Jordi Jefferson, Brock Welsh, Jackson Arcan - PS101 Team Tournament MVP, McCauley Carson, Matt Waliko, Cam Cochrane, Behn Ware, Travi Buxcey, Brendan McCormick. Coaches Jamie Jefferson, Royal Taylor, Stan Kondrotas
In my eyes every player played an awesome role in a great championship game. This team came together very quickly and got better each game. I am very fond of these two age groups for the obvious reasons my son is a 98 but what makes me smile is these players love the game and to win a trophy and some medals the love was shown as they celebrated the win and proudly wore there medals. That is for the love of hockey and it clearly showed.
PS101 PROSPECTS 2008
Well the boys have been waiting to get started and unfortunately we had to enter a tournament where they had to move up a division and despite an uphill battle the team got better each game so they got a taste of tournament hockey. Next tournament they will be playing in their rightful division and should be much better prepared. Judging by their game faces they are ready
KING OF THE RINGS 2001
PS101 Prospects 2001 team had already enjoyed the best season it has had since it started. Coach Storseth and his staff have a great group of players and he is giving them valuable knowledge of the game while still having fun. The team was entering their last tournament of the spring/summer season the fabled King of the Rings.
They started strong with 2 wins and then ran into some hot goaltending losing the third game to finish second in the top division. I was able to watch the semi final game on Sunday and it was a shame they did not win losing a heart breaker in over time which is 3 on 3 after totally dominating the 3rd period and the overtime until a breakaway sealed their fate in that game. The character of this team and coaching staff was shown in the Silver Championship. It would have been easy to fold up and not put the effort in that final game after losing the way they did and to boot playing the team that had earlier in the round robin beat them. But no they did not and skated to a 2 0 win to win the Silver Championship!!!!
I would ike to personally thank Coach Curtis who for the second year was as hands on a coach as I have had. He took complete control, remedied some situations, was able to recruit players when we were short and had a very successful spring season thank you Curtis and staff I hope you all will be back next year.
To the players and team I know it is hard to lose the way you did but I love the way you put it aside and made a positive out of a negative. You have all worked hard all year I seen such an improvement in all your games I hope what PS101 strives to bring in great coaching, instruction and skills developement and most of all fun was had by all.
I wish you all the best in your upcoming seasons - not so much to those who will play against me haha - and hope you all come back next year and we will win the KOR.
PS101 PROSPECTS 2006 SUMMER MELTDOWN
What a year it has been for this new team. I didnt know what to expect from this team but it was very clear from day one Coach Mike Nelson had the boys ready. Entering the Summer Meltdown the 2006 team had been in 2 tournaments and made it to the Gold Championship both times and lost great games.
For this tournament the boys had some good competition. Being a first year team it is reasonable to take a loss to teams that have played together for years or some stacked teams. The men entered the play downs finishing 4th but won an exciting over time game versus Burlington Jr Canadians and advanced to the finals. Three for three could this be the one. Unfortunately in a very good game they came up short against a real good team losing 2 1 to be runnerups in the Gold Championships for a third straight tournament.
I want to congratulate all the players parents and Coach Mike and his staff it was a very successfull year. The team went 10 and 7 with 3 Gold Championship Game runner ups. Cant wait til next year and hope we have Coach Mike back and all the players.
PS101 PROSPECTS 2006 NIAGARA FALLS PLATINUM RUNNER UPS
Not sure when this team will get a break but they have played some remarkable hockey under Coach Mike Nelson. The team went 4 wins 0 losses dominating every game with scores that were through the roof. Heading into the play downs the fear was more over confidence that anything and in the finals they came up against a very good team and held there own showing this is one talented team with great coaching losing out a close one 4 2 to earn the Platinum Runner ups. Great work men your turn to win it all will come.
PS101 PROSPECTS 2003 NIAGARA FALLS GOLD RUNNER UPS
The PS101 Prospects 2003 team had to over come some obstacles all the way with this tournament. First there were some hotel issues but thanks to Linda Taylor savy negotiating the end results were free accommodations and passes to the water park how good is that!! Then the players played some great hockey and went 4 wins 0 losses and sat in first place. After a dominating first playoff 5 1 win the two top teams went at it. Great effort by all a good come back but they fell a bit short losing 7 5 in a very questionable game. Great work to all the season has been a great one thus far with just one to go.
PS101 PROSPECTS 2004 NIAGARA FALLS GOLD CHAMPIONS
What a way to end a spring/summer tournament season program!!!! This year I was happy to have Coach Craig Irvine come over to coach and recruit for a first year PS101 Prospect team for the 2004 age group. It did not take long for me to see how not only does Craig run a great program but how each and every parent and player on this team loves playing for him.
For this last tournament it was fitting to go out on a high. Not only did the team move up a division but they proved the move was the right one winning the Niagara Falls tournament!!!!!!
This team won 3 tournaments and was runner up in a 4th tournament. The teams combine record is a 17 wins 3 losses and 2 ties.
I could not be happier to read the countless emails this team shares over this short tournament season and one thing is very clear Coach Irvine is the reason this team is successful.
Congratulations player, coaching staff and parents on making this a very successful season and I look forward to seeing you all at the up coming mini camp. Thank you all for all the support you gave this team and PS101 and I hope you all are back again next year

PS101 PROSPECTS MIDGETS CHAMPS!!!
The 98 99 age groups is a very close group for me for a number of reasons. These players I have all worked with for many years and have had the pleasure of watching them develop since I started instructing up in South Simcoe. I have watched them all grow as players and as men. Being my son is also a 98 player it was so nice to see him get to play another tournament with long time friends and former teammates and PS101 Prospect alumni Chris Taylor, Kyle Linney, Jordi Jefferson, Will Ferguson, David Donner and Noah Bray.
When you enter these tournaments with a Midget team it is hard to really know what to expect. Our first game was less then memorable losing to a team that we should have clearly dominated but having a team that has never all played together and the need to try and physically win a game didnt exactly end up the way it should have with a loss but that may have been a good thing.
By game 4 the team was finally skating and working and competing just how I felt this group would have when I put it together. Come play downs we were in full compete mode and won 3 0 and dominated the finals 5 0 to win the championship!!!!
The reward of seeing the passion that is still in these players heart was as good as it gets. Congratulations players coaches and parents. Special thanks to Linda and Royal Taylor for going beyond the call of duty setting up the BBQ on Sunday feeding all that were hungry. Thanks to Jamie Jefferson and Royal Taylor for also all the help on the bench during the weekend.
PS101 PROSPECTS SWEEP
An absolutely terrific weekend for PS101 Prospects teams sweeping all 3 championships!!!!!
PS101 Prospects 2004 team remained unbeaten this season winning the Gold Championship and their 2nd straight tournament Championship with a record now of 10 win 0 losses and 1 tie
PS101 Prospects 2003 team went wire to wire undefeated winning the Platinum Championship improving their tournament record to 11 wins 1 loss
PS101 Prospects 2001 team started with a loss in their first game of the year but battled back winning 5 straight with an impressive 4 0 win over Kingston to win the Gold Championship.
WHY I DO THIS
I dont think I could have put it any better and have to share this with you all. I lost my brother a few short years ago and one of my best memories was playing in hockey tournaments together being I was 4 years older this could only happen in summer so this just brings a huge smile to my face and I know the intent is there to read but I just have to share this as this is why I love teaching young players and what makes PS101 Prospects and spring hockey special. -
I wanted to send along a photo from the weekend - not for your website, just for you personally since I know you have fond memories of playing hockey with your brother. The smiles say it all.....the Patey brothers are having a blast playing together this Spring. Thanks for giving them the opportunity - I know they'll remember these days for a very long time.
Have a great day!
Kelly
PS101 PROSPECTS 2006 RUNNER UPS QUEST FOR THE CUP
I want to congratulate the 2006 team player coaches and parents on a great start tot he tournament season. This is a new team and coach to the PS101 Prospects stable and they continued the winning season of the Prospects teams going 3 wins and 1 loss in the regular games, then winning 4 2 in the semi finals and losing a nail biter 3 2 in the last minute in the Championship game. Great work by all players and coach Nelson has the team rolling very nicely. Here are the traditonal game face pictures and it is not hard to see the boys came prepared.
PS101 PROSPECTS 2001 SILVER CHAMPIONS
The weekend at Canlans Bring it Your Best Tournament the 2001 team moved up to the top division after winning their last tournament. The team when executing what Coach Storseth is instructing played some really good hockey and they wanted to try the top division. While they started slowly going 0 2 Friday they came back to go 2 0 including shutting out a previously undefeated team on Saturday but narrowly missed qualfying for the Gold division playdowns but placed first for the Silver playdowns.
Come the playdowns the boys picked it up and executed and delivered dominating performances shutting both teams out and winning the Silver Championship!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations players, coaching staff and parents on a great win!!!!!
PS101 PROSPECTS 99 GB CHALLENGE AAA CHAMPS
Nothing better then watching a group of young players who are highly skilled but never played together as a group enter a tournament and each game get better and better and bond into a team. In quite a tournament up in Collingwood these men went to war together on and off the ice and went 5 and 0 dominating the final 2 games to win the Championship. Players from Grey Bruce, Barrie, Huntsville, North Bay and Bradford bought into what was being sold and executed it to bring the win. Great work men proud of all of you. Special thanks to Chris Butcher for his recruitting, sharing the bench with me and that isnt an easy task and to Jason Semmens for his help on the bench as Nurse Jason.
PS101 PROSPECTS 2004 MAY MADNESS CHAMPIONS
This year PS101 Prospects teams expanded to 6 teams. It is one thing to have teams it is another to put together a program that not only ensures the boys have fun but also a program that brings second to none coaching and instruction. Well after watching this team this weekend in a few of their games PS101 Prospects 2004 have hit the nail square on the head having this team and this coach.
The new kids on the block came out to play and put together a very great weekend. Coach Craig Irvine and his staff did a fantastic job preparing these players to come to play each and every shift. Most of these players are relatively new to PS101 and I was so impressed at the compete in them, the skill and technique they use which is surely the great sign of what great coaching does. The 2004 team went wire to wire undefeated capping off with a 8 5 win in the Championship game!!!
Congratulations boys I see a great summer of winning ahead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More pictures to come and more on the 2004 photo album.
PS101 PROSPECTS 2003 MAY MADNESS FINALISTS

PS101 Prospects 1999
I was asked to put a team in the GB Blue Thunder Tournament in Collingwood May 16-18. This is a AAA tournament and with some help of some recruiting PS101 entered a newly formed team team made up of players from BB to AAA to compete in this tournament.
I was extremely happy with the results. For a team that never even practiced together we finished the round robin with a 1-1-1 record. Our first elimination match put us against CCI Hawks a local Collingwood team who in the morning beaten us 5-4. Retribution was sweet, the boys responded well and played a great game clearly dominating despite a 3 -2 score. On to the Championships.
The Championship had us playing Edge White one of 2 teams entered by Edge group which featured players from Kitchener Guelph etc players who had played together for several years. We met them the first game of the tournament and they were the better team that game but we managed to pull off a tie. Unfortunately we ended up losing but put up a great battle being the better team for most of the game and not getting any help with the tieing goal called back.
Great effort by everyone involved with the team you did PS101 proud.
PS101 Prospects 98
Challenge Cup Champions
What better way to spend a blistering hot July long weekend then in the rink lol. With our 2 visitors from Denmark - top prospects David Madsen a 99 and Daniel Nielsen a 98 - PS101 put a team together so they could play in some good old Canadian hockey games. We entered into this tournament as an underaged 98 team with a couple 99 players with the competition mostly consisting of 97 born players. I was lucky enough to have the luxury of having James Richmond coach this team all weekend and what a treat it was for me and for the players to have such a highly noted and respected Jr A coach at the helm.
It didnt take the boys long to see the Danish young men were really good players. In the first game they stopped counting points after 5 - 0 but the skill of these 2 players had everyone watching with big smiles. We came away with a big win the first game but then took a bit of time off before JR laid the law down and the boys responded with a nice comeback to tie it 3 -3 in the second game leaving us 1 - 0 -1 after day one.
If Friday wasnt hot enough Saturday made up for it and we played a good first game taking a 4 -2 win heading into the last contest with the chance to take outright first place and a bye to the finals. A hard fought battle we fell a bit short losing 1 - 0 so Sunday morning 910am we had to be there and be ready.
Sunday was hot muggy humid a real scorcher and as it turned our the boys played a great first game beating the G -Men 4 - 2 who beat us 1 - 0 the day prior for our only loss. A big game for the 2 Cams and we were off to the finals.
The boys knew we were there to win and JR let them know if you play to win and do all the little things right we will win and sure enough they came out hot as the day was and burned them for a deciding 4 -1 championship win with Rawny leading the way with a big game!!!!!!
What a wonderful weekend for the players they got to meet and play with some of the best players from Denmark, they got to be coached by simply the best James Richmond who not only showed me why he puts so many at a higher level but from every player who had a great lesson on what it takes to be the best you can be and win as a team. Cant wait for round two July 11-13 at the Nott.
PS101 Prospects 98 welcome Top 99 Denmark Prospect David Madsen, Top 98 Denmark Prospect Daniel Nielsen and Aurora Tigers Jr A Head Coach and GM and LA Kings skills instructor James Richmond
PS101 Prospects Teams
What a weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS101 Prospects Teams hit the Canlan Series tournaments this past weekend and left with some well deserved hardware.
The 2003 team won the Silver Championship in a thrilling game that saw a little bit of everything and kept us nail biting.
Shortly thereafter the 1999 team capped a undefeated weekend winning 2 -1 to take the Gold Championship leaving with a 5 - 0 - 1 record.
The 2001 team after a great round robin in a tough 12 team division finished second but lost in the semis to the eventual winners of the Gold Chmapionship.
Great work boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS101 Prospects 99 and 98 Tournament Champions
PS101 Prospects 99 and 98 teams were both competing this weekend at the Weekend Hockey Tournament @ Nottawasaga. The 99 team capped off a perfect weekend going undefeated winning the championship game coming back to win 3 -2. The 98 team after tieing this team in the round robin came in and dominated with a 7 - 1 win. Great Job !!!!!
PS101 Prospects 1998
PS101 put together a great group of players to compete in 2 spring tournaments while Danish elite players David Madsen (99) and Daniel Neilsen (98) were visting Canada. The team first entered the Canada Cup Challenge, a Canalan tournament held in Oakville, in the heat of July. For many they were giving up a holiday weekend and came to the rink prepared to work hard and win this tournament. PS101 was lucky enough to be able to have James Richmond ( Head Coach/GM Aurora Tigers Jr A/LA Kings Skating/Skills Instructor) coach the team that weekend. It was so inspiring to the players to have such a well respected hockey person at the helm and I have to say they responded great as we all witnessed each player get better ever game culminating in winning the tournament.
The second tournament was the Weekend Hockey Tournament in Nottawasaga. This was the only tournament the only weekend we could play while the boys from Denmark were in town and due to our ranking they put us in the Juvenile division. The team was made up with mostly 99 and 98 players from the previous tournament but we added one 96 player to even things out a bit as we were playing players that were 97 to 94 year born. Unfortunately JR was unavailable as he was in LA with the Kings so Jamie Jefferson stepped up and lead the team with yours truly. The boys repsonded well and we won the tournament for a very succesful weekend and summer winning both tournaments we entered.
Thanks to all for your commitment to this team on weekends that were holidays for some. We had a great 2 tournaments and the players enjoyed playign with the top 2 prospects from Denmark for 99 and 98 year born players and best of all experienced what it would be like being coached by one of the best James Richmond. For me it was extremely satisfying to see the boys make new friends win and I gained valuable experience while being on the bench and in the room while JR coached.
Here are a few pictures with many more on my Photo Album page.
2003 Silver Champions
PS101 limped into the Memorial Day Classic Tournament not know what to expect both from this team and from the competition. This team has had only 1 practice where not even everyone showed up but also lost 1 forward and 1 defencemen before we even practiced together. Luckily we were able to find some very capable replacements.
Coach Royal Taylor and Assistant Coach Brad Hoy had the ineveitable task of putting a line up together and basically seeing how everyone responded. Some were a bit slow out of the gates but from game to game I saw a marked improvement in every players game. It was starting to work.
All but 1 game were winable and even the 1 game who knows if we had put a few in early but we finished the round robin in 6th place in a 12 team division. They basically placed the first 4 in the gold division the next 4 in the silver division and the last 4 in the bronze division. Play downs here we come win we move on to the Silver finals lose we go home.
The boys responded with a huge win against a team that had beaten us already once revenge was sweet and we were on to the finals. Regional Express was our competition this is an oganization that is province wide having several teams in all divisions most teams having played together for years. It was a steep task as it was being down 2 - 0 early but the boys reached deep, kept us on the edge of our seats, and sealed the deal and won the game "We are the Champions"
I have to say I saw some players come out of their shells and show something we didnt see until these games. I commend Head Coach Royal for motivating the players real well and while at times we were dangerous to ourselves we were more dangerous to the other team and were rewarded. In the words of Thomas Bradley - " we have to raise our intensity" and boy did they ever.
PS101 Prospects 1999 Gold Champions
PS101 Prospects 1999 team entered the May 23-25 Canlan Memorial Classic tournament. This team is a new team of players but does have a number of players who played and won the King of the Rings and Pre Season Blast Off tournaments last year. It is hard to say just how good they would be and being that we had many play in the Blue Thunder Tournament last weekend I had to cancel the scheduled practice so we went into the tournament without having the team on ice together once.
Our first game we totally dominated we skated to a 7 - 0 win and held the opposition to very few shots on goal. Our next game I guess we thought we were better then we were but managed to pull off a comeback in the closing minute with the goalie pulled to earn a 2- 2 tie. Lesson learned hmmm not so sure. Our next contest saw us play somewhat better but we ran into a hot goalie although we did win it was only 1 - 0. Our goaltending and defence has been excellent to this stage so after 3 games we were 2 - 0 - 1 going into the last round robin game against the undefeated 3 - 0 team for a game for first place.
Well the boys didnt let up they came out flying and we totally dominated this game in all departments and came away with a 5 - 1 win. Goaltending was huge even stopping a penalty shot, defence played great and up front we were clicking.
On to the playdowns our first match saw us up aginst HTP the team we just beat 1 - 0. We were much better in this game and held a clear advantage in play but credit to their goaltender he kept it tight we ended up with a 3 -1 win and off to the finals against the team we beat to take first place knowing they had retribution in their minds
The finals was a great game, it wasnt our best by any stretch as the other team had somethign to prove after we beat them so bad the first time. We managed to come out on top with a 2 -1 win and won the Gold Championship!!!
PS101 PROSPECTS 2003
The team entered in Summer Meltdown to close out the spring/summer tournament schedule. Things started off slow, we didnt play like we could at times then we played some good games so heading into the Bronze Championship game against the team that beat us the first game of the tournament we were not sure how ready the boys would be.
I asked them to give me there best game face and you be the judge how we faired -
Well our guess was as good as yours but this picture sums it all up and in a great way
Players - Goalies - Davonte Auger, Xander Brennan (absent from picture), Defence - Ryan Araujo, Nathan Gainer, Owen Hoy, Jaden Mursion, Charlie Hutchinson Forwards - Cole Patey, Jake Hildebrandt, Dyaln Houde, Andrew Parsons, Andrew Gwilliams, Jessie Taylor, Thomas Bradley, Anthony Nascimento, Aiden Charlebois, Sub Karsen Christopherson (not in picture)
Congratulations boys job well done and earned 2 - 0 Win!!!!!!. It has been a great season and I have to thank Coaches Royal and Chris Taylor, Brad Hoy and Andrew Parsons for being there for the boys, providing leadership and direction.
It is a big commitment to play spring hockey and when every tournament means you have to have a hotel it is even more so for those families from far - Patey, Taylor, Hildebrandt, Houde, Murison thank you for allowing your sons to play on my team I am gratefull to have such committed parents and players.
Thank you all for representing PS101 so proudly I look forward to doing this again next year and maybe just maybe the King of the Rings this year. Hope you all will be back and we can build on a great first year.

PS101 Prospects 99 Ball Hockey
PS101 Prospects were represented thanks to Coach Chris Butcher in the Game On Ball Hockey Tournament held at the Barrie Molson Centre this past weekend. This is a huge event and when I went to watch I was amazed to see 16 different areas going at once and so many teams from young to old entered into this 2 day tournament.
Chris assembled a very good team and the team finished 2nd out of 36 teams going 3 - 0 but lost out in the quarter finals.
Great work Chris and players job well done. PS101 will definetly be in for the next one!!
