Everything rained out last night. Plans are still very fluid at this point. Try and leave your schedules wide open for this weekend. At this point (1PM Fri) having watched a rain storm pass thru and assuming it passed thru Radnor and we cant play tonight (not official) the weekend plan MIGHT be:
Sat July 9 Game later in the day (to allow fields to recover) ...location undetermined. Could be earlier in the day also.
Sun July 10 game at noon. If still alive after the noon game there will be another game about 5PM

Directions to Odorisio: 476 to rt 30, go left on 30 and follow to Wayne ave. Make left followed by quick righ onto West Wayne Ave.
Follow West Wayne a couple blocks , go under a narrow under pass. Look for park on left just beyond underpass. Field sits low and is not visible from street .

March 30, 2011 - Nothing scheduled for this weekend for Sr Legion. Make sure you are registered for SAA. New players should be prepared turn over birth certificates (original). All players will need to provide a copy of your drivers license.
Jan 12, 2011 - NOW is the time to register for Springfield AA if you wish to play Legion baseball this year.

We have upgraded to a new registration sysytem. You must create new usernames and passwords. Old usernames/passwords wont work.
If your current grade is higher than 12, pick 12 as your grade.

2011 Season will most likely start the week of May 23rd 2011. The local season is usually completed by July 20th. Winners of the local league will progress to the state regional tourney. Continued winning wil progress the team thru states, national regionals and national world series competitions.
Age Cut off date for 2011 American Legion Baseball is 1992. Anyone born in the year 1992 (or after) can play.
Typically the team is made up of high school sophmores, juniors, seniors and returning college freshman. Team is selected via tryout. Final team make up will be based on ability to play as well as ability to commit to team/season schedule.
2011 Tryouts will be scheduled . Check back here often for updates.

Also, NEW players should locate your ORIGINAL birth certificate and be prepared to give to me upon request. Once team is set, I will need to bring birt certs to a meeting on May 17th.
