Age Categories
Bantam under 13 as of September 1st, 2019 and in grade 7 Midget under 14 as of September 1, 2019 and in grade 7 or 8
Juvenile under 17 September 1, 2019 and in grade 9
Junior High Distances
Bantam 2000m
Midget 2000m
Juvenile 3000m (1000m loop then a 2000m loop) – will race these distances at last two races.
It is a rolling start beginning at 4:30pm. We will go girls then boys from bantam to juvenile.

There will not be a guided course walk through. Maps of the courses will be provided and may begin at 4:00pm.
Ribbons/medals will be presented as the participants complete their races.
Dress appropriately for all weather. In the event of extreme weather conditions, we will assess and make the call by noon on the day of the competition. All attempts to re-schedule will be made.

Please respect the following color codes for each age category. It is very important that the following information be clearly indicated on each athlete’s label

Please use the following labels. (they come in red, green and blue). It makes recording results much easier.

Team Banner Challenge
Points are accumulated through the X-Country Series. Results are emailed to coaches following the races. Teams with the most points wins the championship banner.
Point values:
1st – 10 points 6th – 5 points
2nd – 9 points 7th – 4 points
3rd – 8 points 8th – 3 points
4th – 7 points 9th – 2 points
5th – 6 points 10th – 1 point
CISAA Medals @ League Finale and Ribbons
Race 1 and 2 – ribbons from 1st to 10th.
Race 3 Finale medals awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Ribbons from 4th to 10th.
Race Day Duties
To run a successful event in a timely fashion, we need each school to provide volunteers
(coaches, staff, parents, students). The following duties need to be fulfilled at each race…

Costs
At the end of the series, I will be communicating with each participating school in regards to monies owed. The collected fees cover the park permit, medals/ribbons and any other miscellaneous costs.
