LUKE DINGMANN EARNS SCL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Luke Dingmann was awarded the Stearns County League Player of the Week for his performance against St. Martin. Dingmann was a horse on the mound and was a game changer at the plate in the Saints 15-6 win over the Martins in the SCL Classic tournament. Dingmann picked up the victory on the mound with 4 innings pitched and 4 strikeouts. At the plate, Dingmann connected for a home run to go along with 3 other hits, 3 runs batted in, and 4 runs scored. Congrats Luke!

The Saints struggled to get the bats going vs. the Pierz Lakers on Saturday in a 5-0 defeat but rallied for a 7-0 victory over the Cold Spring Rockies on Sunday. Ethan Mueller, fresh off his NJCAA World Series appearance, blasted a home run, drove in 2 runs, and collected 2 other hits to finish a perfect 3-for-3 on the day including 2 runs scored. Brody Hadley made his Elrosa Saints debut and collected 2 hits to help pace the offense. Wyatt S. started on the mound before giving way to Torii Johnson who collected the win. Johnson and Steffensen combined to strike out 10 while limiting the Rockie offense to 3 hits. 

   

Friday night, the Saints host Lake Henry in Elrosa for a SCL clash with first pitch slated for 8 p.m. Saturday, the orange and navy will travel to New Munich to battle the Silverstreaks at 1:30 in a SCL North rivalry game.
