ELROSA SAINTS

(Peter goes yard for the 2nd straight weekend!)

ELROSA--Hitting is contagious! Elrosa knocked out 18 hits and scored 17 runs as they dismantled Greenwald 17-1 in the opening round of the SCL North playoffs. The Saints scored 5 runs in the 2nd inning, 3 more in the 3rd and 4th, and another 5 spot inthe 5th inning to put the game out of reach. The Saints had a banner day at the plate led by Jackson Peter's 3-for-4 performance including a 3 run home run and 5 RBIs. Luke Dingmann also blasted a 2 run home run to go along with 3 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Peyton Winter notched 3 hits and 3 RBIs while scoring 2 runs, including a double. Luke Illies, Gavin Kampsen, and Blaine Fischer all recorded multi-hit performances for the boys in blue. Aiden Mueller threw 5 scoreless innings to earn the win on the hill for Elrosa with Cameron Loe tossing the final 2 frames.
