2020 Season is Officially Cancelled
Our league has decided to cancel the 2020 season. There are 15 organizations in our league and a vote was conducted on how to proceed with the season, to go forward or cancel. 11 organizations voted to cancel, 4 voted to proceed under CDC and NYS regulations. Clarence Youth Football and Cheer was one of the 4 to vote to proceed but we were overruled. We as an organization were confident in our protocols to keep our kids healthy and have a positive experience, something they desperately need, but in the end it didn’t matter.

Rally Opposing Ban on Youth Tackle Football
For anyone that has not heard, there's a bill in the health committee in the Assembly right now that is set to ban tackle football for ages 12 and under.
Some local legislators like Assemblyman Angelo Morinello have stepped up in opposition to the bill and its proposal to only allow players 13 and above to tackle.
On Saturday, Morinello will be joined by other legislators for a rally in North Tonawanda. The rally will be hosted at the Rescue Field/Fire Hall at 1 p.m. at 1241 Strad Avenue in North Tonawanda.
