Forsyth County Youth Football Association overview of Park Alignment

As many of you have seen in the 2009 Football season we aligned our Youth Parks uniforms and Mascots with the nearest High School possible to that Park in order to create more community support for the majority of the kids playing at a youth park, and then eventually attending the High School closest to that park.

Our goal is to make sure all kids that want to play youth football have that opportunity. While our County continues to grow, more Schools being built, more parks being built we must anticipate growth for each Recreational Park. Creating a safe environment with the best facilities possible is a very big part of what we do. Every Park has a safe limit in terms of number of teams that can participate due to the number of lighted fields. Understanding this, part of the alignment will be to suggest as many individuals participate out of the park closest to their home and/or where their child will attend High School. This is not mandatory and no additional fees will be charged if you decide not to play in your school district’s home park. That being said, we ask that each community support this exciting time for youth football in Forsyth County and help us achieve the goal of building community and school spirit for the upcoming 2010 football season.
