Atom All-Star Tryouts will start on Wednesday September 17, 2014.Please download the attached document outlining the process and general information.

Atom A and B Tryout Process

All-star hockey requires both an additional financial and time commitment. The all-star fee is an additional $280 per player if you are selected to play for the Atom A or B teams.

 Financial Commitment

Parents are requested to consider that the all-star program usually (but not always) three on island invitational tournaments and in the past years has included a travel tournament to the mainland.

Time Commitment

Parents are requested to consider that the all-star teams play two games per week, one home (JBA) and one away game, games are played Monday through to Thursday. Also the team will have on average two practices per week (one by NEMHA and one optional) and often play exhibition games.

This message is not meant to discourage kids from playing all-star hockey, however it is clearly meant to ensure that parents are fully aware of the all-star program’s time and financial commitment”
