The following message is issued by the North Dufferin Baseball League Executive upon learning of the death of Matt Wyllie:
"The Executive of the North Dufferin Baseball League expresses sincere condolences to family, friends and teammates of Matt Wyllie of Lisle who died on December 5.
"Matt played for the Lisle Astros junior and senior teams for over 20 years and was proud to don the uniform. He was a familiar face around the ballpark and always helpful and jovial. Matt was a friend to many and will be missed."
