| The Varsity team had another big victory tonight against Easter Tech 55-21 putting us at 9-1 on the season. We also tied for 3rd in the very tough Franklin Invitational.We have one more home meet against Joppatown 02/06. please try and come out. Jake Roche Varsity Head Wrestling Coach

| great job this year on your success, you should have an even better team next year with the addition of Zeke Salvo and Gordon Reilley from my team. Robin as a senior and Shaun should be monsters and Andrew should continue to improve at that 215 weight class.
I'm glad PH decided to bring in someone with such motivation, its been lacking for a long long time, even as far back as when i wrestled. we always had the benefit back in those days of keeping most of our guys although there were a number that went to private school but back in the day perry hall was still a farm town and most of the hicks that lived here thought of perry hall as a top rate school probably similar to the hereford area now. anyway over the years perry hall has had tons of great wrestlers and alot of guys who decided to play grab ass and not keep up there grades and waste some talent that could have been.
some that come to mind immediately are pete bruno from the early 80's who won 3 jr league state titles then decided to burn a hole in the roof of the gym and was expelled to never wrestle again after beating the defending county champ in a dual meet. and Justin who is shaun's murphy's brother who went 24-2 as a freshman and failed off before counties and never wrestled another hs match! both of whom would have been multi state champs and by there example prove that talent is not enough..............

| The Varsity currently has 3 ranked #1 in the county. Shaun Murphy 112lbs Robin Paguia 140lbs, both products of the Perry Hall junior league! also Tyler Wilson 189lbs a second year wrestler. The Varsity is currently ranked 5th in the county and second in the 3A/4A north region. They also finished 2nd in the Perry Hall invitational.
