Game 1 VS Hibernian Heat = WIN 3-2
An AMAZING come back! Thanks to Sarah Glazewski and Sarah Knight for guest playing!
They went up 2-0 on us. With about 10 minutes left in the game, we scored 3 goals. Sarah Glazewski started us off with our first, then it was Marisa to Ashley for our second, then it was Sarah G. to Ashley for our 3rd.
Dakota went down with a knee injury.
Goals: Sarah G. and Ashley
Assists: Sarah G. and Marisa
Game 2 VS Fairfield CT Heat on the hot stadium turf = Loss 0-1
On the hot turf. The Rebels were pretty burnt out from their amazing come back, so couldn't find the energy to put one in the net.
Game 3 VS Hunterdon United Hurricanes = WIN 2-0
Lacey was out with an ankle injury. Sarah G. and Sarah Knight guest played.
Goals: Yaya, Ashley
Assists: Brielle Nowicki, Brielle Eder

Zaya started us out with a long shot for a quick lead, then Yaya took us to 2-0, then they popped one in to get to 2-1, then they started dominating a bit toward the end of the game, but Ashley quickly shut them down with a nice goal to lock it up.

JAGS Game 6 - Home vs Toms River Independent Wave = WIN 5-2
Ugly and rainy day at the Complex. We missed Tracy. Toms River was running late with traffic issues.
Hard to believe they beat Freehold and tied Marlton.
Solid defense and possession from the Rebels today!
Goals: Brielle Eder, Ashley, Summer, Ashley, Summer
Assists: Jess, Dakota, Jess, Summer, Ashley
EPIC Tournament - Semi-Finalists
Saturday - We barely escaped the rain, with our first game finishing up just before the heavy downpour and clearing up before our second game. We missed Summer. Thanks to Dominique for guest playing. Heading into Saturday in 2nd place and need a win to get to the finals.
Goals: Ashley, Ashley, Ashley, Ashley, Dominique
Assists: Lacey, Olivia, Zaya, Ashley
Sunday - Great battle against a tough Council Rock Cosmo team. We had our opportunities and they had theirs, but neither team could put the ball in the net for the win.
The Cosmos went to the final, but lost 0-1 to the YMS team from the other bracket.

JAGS Game 5 - At Marlton Thunder = Loss 1-5
Ouch, well that one hurt a bit!
The first half was ugly, where we went down 0-4, with the first two goals scored against us in the first 6 minutes of the game.
The second half was much better, with most of the action in Marlton's end and us playing to a 1-1 tie.
Goal: Brielle Nowicki
JAGS Game 4 - Home vs Jersey Shore Boca Mahem = WIN 1-0
Where's coach Glenn and Olivia? Rachel came for a visit!! First win in JAGS this season and still undefeated in JAGS league.
We missed a few opportunities.
Goal: Ashley
Assist: Brielle Nowicki
Great shutout by our Keepers and Defense!
NJ Cup - Away At Linden Diamonds = Loss 2-3 in OT
A great effort by the ladies of the Rebels, to hang tough against a team that plays up in the JAGS Premier flight, which is two above us!
The Diamonds got ahead of us 2-0 in the first half, then we came back and beat them 2-0 in the back half. Mid way through the first 5 minute OT, they knocked in the game winner.
All 3 of their scores came off of headers. We need to get command of our box.
Goals: Brielle Eder, Brielle Nowicki
Assists: ?
JAGS Game 3 - At Toms River Galaxy = TIE 2-2
Well, we're still undefeated on the season, with 4 ties and 1 win, with one if the state cup games converting to a win from PK's.
Where's Jessica's cleats?
The field was a bit short and bumpy, with both teams playing more of a kick and run style for this game.
The Galaxy was quick and aggressive to the ball and they were able to strike first. Ashley then broke through for two goals, which put us ahead, then the Galaxy was able to tied it up, which is how it ended.
Goals: Ashley, Ashley
Assists: Summer, Olivia
JAGS Game 2 - Home vs Rancocas Red Raiders = TIE 2-2
A beautiful day for soccer. We beat Rancocas last season 1-0 and should have beaten them today as well.
We went up 1-0, then they tied it up 1-1, then we went up 2-1, then with about 10 minutes left, they popped in another shot to tie it up. They were aggressive and physical, but didn't string too many passes together.
We dominated in the first half, but let ourselves play down to their level in the second half, which took us away from our game and cost us the win. Had we stayed focused on keeping possession and playing the ball, instead of playing the players, the game would have been ours. We also need to be more aggressively clearing the ball out of our own box.
Goals: Brielle Nowicki, Ashley
Assist: Smmer
NJ Cup - Home vs Cranford Lightning = WIN 1-1 PK's
The Lightning has improved since we played them last. They were bigger and much more aggressive and fast to the ball.
We didn't play too well, but found a way to get the "W" in PK's, with the darkness quickly approaching. Madeline, Brielle Eder and Zaya made their PK's and Dakota came up with a key PK save, with Cranford not making any of their PK shots.
Moving on to the Quarterfinals against either FC Premier Legend or Linden Diamonds.
Goals: Brielle Nowicki
Assists: Zaya, Ashley
JAGS Game 1 - At Cherry Hill = TIE 2-2
Coach Glenn missed a tough battle with the Sharks. We missed Summer and Brielle Eder had to sit out her 1st of 3 JAGS league games.
Rebels were down 0-1 at the half, when a deflected cross went into our net. The Rebels came out strong in the second half and were up 2-1, then the Sharks came back with an unchallenged strike that rebounded off of the cross-bar and was bodied into the net.
A game that we clearly deserved to win, but sometimes the soccer ball doesn't bounce our way!
Goals: Olivia, Zaya
Assists: Ashley, Brielle
NJ Cup - Away At Freehold Barracudas = WIN 2-1
A chilly night in Freehold, under the lights on a Thursday evening. Summer left the game with some breathing challenges and a sore throat. Get well soon Summer!
A great first goal as a Rebel for "NEW" Brielle Eder, off of a handball free kick that sailed over the Keeper's head and hands. "NEW" Brielle also got the assist on our second goal, which was by Ashley.
The Freehold goal came off of a free kick just outside of our 18. #24 was quick and their main threat.
On to Round 3 of the NJ Cup, which will be home against either Cranford or Montclair.
Goals = Brielle Eder, Ashley, Assist = Brielle Eder
