NEW ONLINE JR & SR BABE RUTH REGISTRATION

For the 2021 Spring season we've added online registration for your convenience. You can access the online registration for both the Jr Babe Ruth (13-15) and Sr Babe Ruth (16-18) seasons to register your players. The 2020 season was one of our most challenging seasons yet and we're counting on a better 2021 as COVID protocols and safety procedures have been proven to minimize the chance of contracting the Coronavirus. We are committed to continuing to add depth to our program and our efforts to provide the most complete baseball program in our area.

SPRING TRAINING

In the month of April, all of the registered Junior Babe Ruth players (13, 14 & 15) not on a high school team took to the field twice a week to get ready. Multiple stations, instruction and many, many reps prepared them for the season. Returning players shook off the rust and incoming players learned the complexities of the larger 60/90 field. Our goal is to work with the players and make the game one they can enjoy and compete in.

THE SEASON

In 2020 each team played in our local Norwalk league and in the very competitive Fairfield County Jr Babe Ruth League. Our Norwalk teams were evenly rostered with a mix of new and existing players as well as each team having high school players added as soon as they were released from their teams. THE CITY CHAMPIONSHIP

The spring season came to its close with an exciting double elimination city tournament. In recent seasons we saw the lowest seeded team blast through the field and take the championship undefeated. This championship is a great wrap up to an exceptional season.

SUMMER BASEBALL

Two teams were selected to continue on as summer All-Stars. The teams participate in a summer league against teams from Fairfield County.

NORWALK BABE RUTH BASEBALL

We’re dedicated to bringing all players the development and competition best suited for their abilities on our local fields, against good teams. We look forward to the upcoming fall season and continuing to improve our program and to work with the players. We look forward to serving the needs of the Norwalk baseball community.
