Interior Baseball League serves all youth baseball players ages 5-14 in the Fairbanks North Star Borough, including Ft. Wainwright and Eielson AFB. IBL plays under the ‘traditional’ PONY League program rules, for 5 divisions of players in recreational and travel experiences. As an organization, we believe baseball is for every youth and work diligently to provide an safe environment for ALL athletes to have the opportunity to learn, develop, and in the game of baseball and it's life lessons taught. Shetland (ages 5-6) - $155.00
Pinto (ages 7-8) - $175.00
Mustang (ages 9-10) - $225.00
Bronco (ages 11-12) - $245.00
Pony (ages 13-14) - $275.00

Monthly Board Meeting
LATHROP High School
April 12th OR April 26th, 2026
12:30pm to 4:30pm
***Last Group will be taken for assessments at 4:00***
- Skill assessments are conducted for all Divisions except the Shetland Division (ages 5 – 6) and Pinto Division (ages 7 - 8).
- The skills assessments are an evaluation of each players’ fundamental baseball skills, not a tryout.
- All players will be placed on teams.
- Attendance at a skill assessments is required for all players in the Mustang, Bronco and Pony Divisions, new and returning.
- Please wear comfortable clothes, sneakers, and bring a mitt, if you have one.
- You do not have to be at assessments for the whole time. Show up between 12:30am and 4:00pm. It will take about an hour.
- You can pay with cash(exact change please), check or credit card. Please note, payment is due at time of registration.
- **You are only required to attend ONE assessment.**
- You MAY also register online before assessments this will SAVE time at assessments.
- Registration for all divisions closes when maximum numbers are reached. Register Early!
