TCJB also sponsors All-Star Baseball & Softball teams for post rec season play. In July, TCJB sponsors both a Baseball and Softball tournament for All-Star and Select teams. For more information on these tournaments go to the "Tournaments" page.

Season Update 3/24/20

Dear Parents,

After meeting last night, TCJB Executive Board has voted to postpone the practice start date until April 7th.  The board is very aware that this date may need to be pushed back and we anticipate making adjustments as Governor DeWine mandates schools/state stay open or closed.  We still have NO intention of canceling, and have come up with some innovative ideas about how to run the upcoming season.  As we make plans certain important dates have changed too, these dates are listed at the bottom of this page.
As a board, we acknowledge that this is a stressful and uncertain time.  Therefore, we are offering a refund to those families that decide they no longer want to/can't participate in TCJB this spring/summer.  You must make this request BEFORE April 6th.
To request a refund you will need to send an email to and list each child and their league, you wish to be refunded.  We will honor these requests, no questions asked, as long as it is received before April 6th.  We will not be reopening registration or accepting players back into the organization once a refund has been given.   If you have extenuating circumstances please contact us before asking for a refund, we are here to help.  For refunds or questions about possible scholarships, please contact
We cannot thank you enough for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this.  We will keep you updated as more information comes to us.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

The health, safety, and well-being of our kids, parents, coaches and community members are of utmost importance to TCJB. Due to the mandate released earlier today by Governor DeWine, the TCJB Executive Board met this evening to review any necessary changes to the upcoming season.  After discussing the possibilities at length, it was decided that TCJB would follow the directives of the State of Ohio Health Department, OHSSA, and Tipp City Schools  to postpone the start of practices by 3 weeks.  April 1st, will be the first date any team, in any league may hold organized practices and will be limited to one team per field.  Organized scrimmages may not be played before April 15th, by any team, in any league.  Violations of these directives could result in suspension.  We will continue to watch the situation closely and update you with any changes.  Opening Day is still scheduled for April 25th.  Any questions can be directed to

Thank you for your patience and understanding,

TCJB Executive Board

Weather Updates for 2020

January 2, 2020

Here are the basics for game cancellation and/or postponements.

Games are cancelled by commissioner of the leagues.

Games are cancelled field by field during the season.

We do NOT update the field status for conditions during the pre-season for practice.  If the field is not playable, do NOT use it and stay in the grass.

Green means the fields is playable and the game is scheduled to be played.

Yellow means the fields could be playable.  Field work needs to be done.  Coaches and parent volunteers can help.  At yellow, the difference between the game being played or not can be you.  (We don't have enough ground crew for 12 fields at once.)  Come on out!

Red means the field is unplayable.  A field can NOT go from Red to Yellow/Green for the given day.

Ohio's "Return To Play" law goes into effect on April 26, 2013.  With a large increase in the number of concussions experienced by youth sports players over the recent years, the state of Ohio has enacted a law requiring coaches, umpires, or other officials to remove children from games or practices if they show any signs of a possible concussion.

TCJB takes this very seriously.  All coaches and board members will be required to take a on-line training program that will help them understand the seriousness of a concussion as well as learn the warning signs.  For more information on this law and the training, please click here.
