Tipp City Junior Baseball & Softball

Who We Are

Tipp City Junior Baseball & Softball (TCJB) provides a recreational (rec) league for youth ages six to seventeen.  The rec leagues are designed to offer the youth participating a chance to play organized baseball or softball in a fun, educational and competitive setting.  TCJB also sponsors All-Star Baseball & Softball teams for post rec season play.  In July, TCJB sponsors both a Baseball and Softball tournament for All-Star and Select teams.  Additionally, TCJB supports select teams with shared access to Kyle Park along with a softball tournament in May.  TCJB is a IRS code section 501(c)3 organization.

TCJB will be moving to new software in 2026 (Crossbar).  Registration & the new website will open on January 14, 2026.  Here is the LINK to TCJB Crossbar website.

Note:  USSSA softball expanded the ages for 2026 to mirror USA softball who expanded a couple years ago.  A softball player may be playing an extra year in a age group in 2026 based on the change.

• 1/15/2026 - Registration opens
• 2/21/2026 - Softball Camp (Revised 1/10) - Tipp High School Softball will be hosting a girls softball camp. Saturday, 2/21 from 9am to 12pm  The camp will be an hour and a half and is split by grades to work on age-appropriate skills.  We hope to have a flyer soon.  If you have a child who would like to attend or if you have questions, please send an email of interest to cetackett@tippcity.k12.oh.us or you can register day of at the door!  The cost is $20.

Here are the basics for game cancellation and/or postponements.

Games are cancelled by commissioner of the leagues.

Games are cancelled field by field during the season.  

We do NOT update the field status for conditions during the pre-season for practice.  If the field is not playable, do NOT use it and stay in the grass.

Green means the fields is playable and the game is scheduled to be played.

Yellow means the fields could be playable.  Field work needs to be done.  Coaches and parent volunteers can help.  At yellow, the difference between the game being played or not can be you.  (We don't have enough ground crew for 12 fields at once.)  Come on out!

Red means the field is unplayable.  A field can NOT go from Red to Yellow/Green for the given day.
