Jack started in Pre-Novice with CBR, working his way through each Division and is now playing with the St. John’s Maple Leafs AAA Midget Team.  He also a member of the Queen Elizabeth High School Hockey Team.

Without the countless volunteer hours by the coaches, the members of the CRB Executive and parent groups over the years, Jack would not have had the wonderful experiences he had.  It truly was a pleasure to be a part of the Association.

Emily has been a member of the CBR Minor Hockey association for the past 9 years.   She began playing hockey after participating in an Esso Hockey Fun Day when she was 8 years old.   Since that time Emily has participated on both CBR Renegades house league and all-star teams and has represented the association at both U12 and U15 invitational and provincial tournaments.  Emily has also contributed to the female program as jr coach/assistant in the U9/U12 program as well as HNL female development camps.  Emily currently participates in the female AAA program with the Midget Eastern Ice Breakers and has been an Eastern Ice Breaker for the past five years.  She has also been a member of Team NL both U16 and U18.  In 2017, at the Atlantic Challenge Cup, Emily was awarded the “Hard Hat Award”  which is given to the player on each team who is voted by her teammates as the “best overall contributor”.   2018 was a busy hockey year for Emily, she played in the NL Winter Games as captain of team Avalon, participated in the Atlantics  as an Assistant Captain with Midget Eastern Ice Breakers.  After Atlantics she was invited to join the Atlantic Avalanche(private hockey team consisting of players from Atlantic provinces)  and with that team she participated in the Montreal Meltdown.  In July she travelled with Xtreme Hockey to the Boston Beantown Classic and in October, as a member of U18 Team NL, earned a silver medal at the Atlantic Challenge Cup in Moncton.

Emily has an outstanding work ethic, leadership and commitment to any team she's a part of.  She is a quick and agile forward with a hard and accurate shot.  She’s extremely proud and excited to be a member of U18 Team NL Representing the province at Canada Winter Games.

At the age of 8, Grace began her minor hockey career through the CBR Minor Hockey Association. Playing boys house league for many years Grace eventually began to play with their female programs once she reached the age of 10 and was able to participate on the U12 female provincial team. This was just the beginning of Grace’s female career with the Renegades. She went on to play three years of U12 hockey with the Renegades, capping off the final U12 year by captaining her team to a tough 5-4 loss in the A division championship game of the first U12 female metro tournament. From there she went on and played two years of U15 with the female Renegades winning a gold medal in the “C” division her first year and leading her team in winning the Sarah Davis tournament in her second, and final year with the female Renegades program before joining the AAA Eastern Ice Breakers her first year of Bantam. Not only did Grace participate in high level female programs with the Renegades she also was a member of a few male teams. Grace’s first year Peewee she was a standout defenseman for the Renegades Peewee C team who took home a silver medal at provincials. Grace’s second year of Peewee she played Peewee B and was named Captain of this team who won the Robert French Memorial Tournament along with the DJHL Championship. Her final year playing with the Renegades, Grace was a member of the Bantam B team who won the DJHL championship. Grace also played for Villanova Junior High boys’ and girls teams as well as Holy Spirit’s girl team while still in Junior High. After two successful years with the Eastern Ice Breakers AAA team, placing second in her first year and co-captaining her team alongside Canada Games and longtime CBR teammate, Emily Hawco the girls pulled out a provincial win and qualified and went on to play at the Female Bantam AAA Atlantics in Moncton, NB. Grace was scouted by Newbridge Academy in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia at the Atlantic Championships and for her first year midget she packed up and left Newfoundland to attend the prep school on athletic scholarship to further her hockey development. In the 2017-18 Grace was an assistant captain for Team Newfoundland U16 who took home a bronze medal at the Atlantic Challenge Cup. Grace lead her team at Newbridge Academy in goals and points and was nominated for both the Coaches award and MVP. Grace is currently tied for goals and second in points with her Newbridge Academy team this season. Along with representing Team Newfoundland U18 at the Atlantic Challenge Cup, Grace has also been named to the roster that will be representing Newfoundland and Labrador at the Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, Alberta this February. Grace is looking forward to this once and a lifetime experience and can’t wait to represent her province along with the entire community of Conception Bay South and the CBR Renegades at the games.

Chase started novice hockey here with CBR 9 years ago. After 4 years with CBR he played both Peewee AAA and Bantam AAA with Tricom Thunder for another 4 years. Chase now plays for East Coast Blizzard Major Midget AAA and for the Holy Spirit High Falcons. Through a lot of hard work and determination Chase has also been fortunate to play with Team NL for the past 3 years. We would like to thank CBR for giving Chase such an enjoyable and  wonderful start to his hockey.
