Welcome to the 2013 season of Tipp City Junior Baseball/Softball. 

Tipp City Jr. Baseball, Inc. provides a recreational (rec) league for youth ages six to seventeen. The rec leagues are designed to offer the youth participating a chance to play organized baseball or softball in a FUN and educational setting. TCJB also sponsors All-Star Baseball & Softball teams for post rec season play. In July, TCJB sponsors both a Baseball and Softball tournament for All-Star and Select teams. Ohio's "Return To Play" law goes into effect on April 26, 2013.  With a large increase in the number of concussions experienced by youth sports players over the recent years, the state of Ohio has enacted a law requiring coaches, umpires, or other officials to remove children from games or practices if they show any signs of a possible concussion. 

TCJB takes this very seriously.  All coaches and board members will be required to take a on-line training program that will help them understand the seriousness of a concussion as well as learn the warning signs.  For more information on this law and the training, please click here.

TCJB is the largest youth organization in our area and provides a great opportunity for sponsorship and advertising exposure. Thousands of people each week from Tipp City, Bethel, Northmont, Troy, Vandalia, West Milton, etc… are exposed to TCJB team sponsors.  If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or donating to TCJB, please contact Brad Crow.

The next TCJB Board Meeting of the Executive Board has not been set yet.  Once a date is set, it will be posted here.  Visitors are welcome.

We currenlty have the following positions open on the TCJB Board:  Softball commissioner, Field Maintenance Director, Jim Mohr Tournament Director, and the Elizabeth Spano Tournament Director.  Your consideration to help fill these positions is greatly appreciated.  The Tournament Director positions can be co-chaired.  If you are interested in volunteering for any of these positions or just have questions, feel free to contact Alex Gonter-Dray (Treasurer) or Scott Sutton (Select Softball Commissioner).
