Attention Members:

The CBR board would like to advise members that our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday, July 25th at 7pm at the CBS Legion. Please see below the positions that are to be filled at this year’s AGM. There are still positions that need to be filled and CBRMHA will look to do so by taking nominations from the floor at our AGM. If positions are still left unfilled, the new board will strike up a selection committee in an attempt to fill the remaining roles.

Help us fill Sammy’s Gear Up Room and restock the CBS Lions Club Equipment Room with gently used hockey equipment.

If you have used hockey equipment taking up space in your garage or basement, this is a great opportunity to free up some space, donate the equipment, and make a great contribution to the community.

Sammy's Climb Higher Foundation will have bins set up at both CBS Arena and Robert French Memorial Stadium Saturday and Sunday to collect all donated equipment.

Good Day,

If you are planning on Assisting with CBR Minor Hockey in any capacity for the season you are expected to provide a Code of Conduct which is either from the RNC or the RCMP depending on which district you fall under.  RNC link RNC Criminal Records Screening.  RCMP Criminal Records Screening RCMP Criminal Records Screening.   You will need to upload the presidents letter with your application link provided Presidents Letter 2024-2025 Season.

Screening is only valid for 3 years.  If you are uncertain of the expiration of your screening please reach out to the Registrar to have it validated. registrar@cbrminorhockey.com.

Registration is open for U18 minor hockey players. To register, please “skip this registration” as there is no U18 Minor Hockey Registration open yet. It will advance you to the items screen where you can select U18 Minor Sweat Camps. From there you can register for the sweat camps.

U18 Female Sweat Camp and Registration

For the 2024/2025 season, U18 Female will include 15 forward/defense and 2 goalies, totalling 17 players. We will initially hold a two session Identification camp, followed by a two game evaluation series to roster a team. 

Any players that are unsuccessful in securing a position may be offered a position with other associations requiring players. 

Please be advised that the proposed format will be based on the number registrants for the Identification/selection process.

Sweat Camp Cost: $80.00 (4 sessions total)

Registration Cost: $550.00

Registration will close November 3, 2024 @ 11:59PM

We would like to thank you all for your patience as we work through the programming for the U18 MCHL Division for the 2024-2025 Season.  Below you will find the Final Rosters for the season.  The U18 is filled with young men and women who are entering the work force and have many commitments.  We would like to ask everyone to keep in mind that it is very much appreicated by your coach to let them know in advance if you are unable to attend a game.  We do not want to show up to the rink and not have enough players to play a game.  We ask that you send a note to your manager or head coach just letting them know that you are unable to attend.  This gesture is very much appreciated.

We hope you all have a fantastic season and remember to act with very much respect on and off the ice.  Please remember your representing the association when you are at our rinks or a visitor at another associaiton.  Please always keep a positive and mature attitude.

CBR Minor Hockey would like to send a Big Shout Out to our CBR Females who are playing 

on the Scotiabank U13 Puffins Team. This team took home the Bronze Hardware from the 

SEDMA Tournament. 

We are now accepting registration for our 2nd set oh 10 Hours for our Intro to Hockey.  Registration is now open online. 

It is 200.00 for 10 Sessions.  Full gear is required.  Saturday mornings 8:00 am CBSA.  If you need more information please email office@cbrminorhockey.com.

The third annual Sammy's Super Hero Game is just around the corner! The Blues host the St. John's Senior Caps this Sunday, January 19th at 2:30 pm.

Before the Blues take to the ice in this years custom superhero jerseys, the Blues and the Sammy's Climb Higher Foundation will honor some real life superheroes! 

The Blues have dedicated this years Sammy's Superhero game to the memory of Jake Anstey.

Shout out to our CBR alumni for winning the U13AAA Spud. Liam Connors, Charles Burt, Preston Lewis and Jude Carroll.

Congrats to our U18B team on capturing the bronze medal at the Matthew Sargent U18 Memorial Tournament this past weekend in Gander.

Our team played hard and had a very respectful 2-1-1 record. We had the same record as Deer Lake and the tiebreaker formula was used to determine who would go to the finals and we were just short with Deer Lake moving on to play in the championship game and eventually winning it all. A good time was had by all.

Huge thanks to Gander Minor Hockey for hosting and inviting us out!
