Rich Knight presented the projected CNOBF 2024 Financial Report

Revenues from Team Fees - $19,900

Costs -Niagara District Host -$5,000

Costs - CNOBF 2024 Host - $12,857.74

Projected Profit- $2000-$2500 - HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE we are still looking for helpers to line fields/ in Milton and 9th line

President Tim Lessard went through the following items for CNOBF 2024 

*All Teams present received schedule, “No Complaints”  with schedule and playoff Structure 

 *ROSTER DEADLINE - Saturday July 20 -and can be supplied without signatures but must have Name and Birthdate (Signatures maybe added game day prior to player taking field)

* INDEMNITY LETTER - should be sent to each player on your team by e-mail and again Manager must have player initial his copy confirming that player has read that Letter and abides to it, and keep it with him at all times

 *RULES -One concern brought up, is that the umpires are not aware of the rules and treat our game like senior baseball - example given sliding hard into 2nd base to break up Double Plays - Rich Knight to speak to Miller Tablan to make sure all umpires are aware of rules and contact on base paths is not allowed 

 *POOL GAMES MUST be reported to one of the following people as soon as possible after your game is finished

Richie Thompson; Tim Lessard; Rich Knight; Greg McEachern

 *PLAY-OFFS -Highest Seed will be ”HOME TEAM”

*FINALS  IN EVERY AGE BRACKET -FLIP FOR “HOME TEAM”

*PLAYERS  being ejected, Managers should get players off field as soon as possible- Any player ejected is subject to a ONE GAME SUSPENSION 

 *BASEBALLS - Tim Lessard reminded  Teams that we have to work together making sure foul balls are retrieved  - Tim mentioned the goal is to Start the first game with 4 brand new balls then 2 new balls from Teams game 2/3/4 and hopefully your Finals game - and it is important to retrieve  used balls from each game, putting best looking used baseballs as back ups for those games

 *BASEBALL BATS- ALL DeMarini bats are illegal in this Tournament - 

 *Couple of Baseball Items not mentioned on the AGM call

*MEET + GREET - Rich Knight will send a RSVP to all team Reps early next week - please respond if you can make it! We are looking at Thursday August 1st - at 8pm Mulligan’s Pub Mississauga on Dundas St or another location in the vicinity
