10YO - Our District 18 10 year old team beat Clark (District 10) on Monday (7/16) by a score of 3-0 in their 2nd game of the NJ Section 3 10YO Tournament. Their next game is Wednesday (7/18) at 8 pm against Lincroft (District 19). All games are hosted by Sunnybrae Little League (Pleasant Dr. and Elton Road) in Yardville, NJ. 12YO – Our 12 year old District 18 team defeated Clark (District 10) by a score of 8-0 on Sunday (7/15) in the 2nd round of the NJ Section 3 tournament. Their next game is Wednesday (7/18) at 7:30 pm against Middletown (District 19). All games are at Ocean Little League (2811 Logan Road, Ocean). 8YO - Our 8 year old Toms River Machine Pitch Tournament team lost an elimination game to Jackson on Monday (7/16) by a score of 6-4. Congratulations to Manager Ken Mikulik and the boys on a great effort in the tournament!
AAA - Our AAA TRELL Tournament Team beat TRELL American on Sunday (7/15) by a score of 7-3 to advance to the championship game (Wednesday, 5:30 pm) against Manchester. All games are at Toms River East Little League (2195 Windsor Avenue, Toms River).
MIT - Our 12YO MIT Team lost a close 4-2 game to Toms River on Wednesday (7/11) but followed that up with a 12-4 win over Howell North on Thursday (7/12). The MIT tournament continues with single elimination bracket play beginning on Sunday (7/15). Our 12YO MIT team will play Wednesday (7/18) against Middletown at 8 pm. All games are at Manchester Little League (2425 Ridgeway Road, Manchester). Congratulations to Quinn Cali and Matt Cordi for receiving awards in the MIT skills competition held Saturday (7/14). Quinn was 6th overall in speed and Matt was 5th overall in throwing accuracy. Nice job boys!

Easton Bat Decertification: What You Need to Know
Please see the below communication from Little League International regarding decertification of the Easton Ghost X 30/20 5/8 by USA Baseball.
For those parents who purchased the Easton Ghost X, 30" -10 USA Baseball bat (model #'s YBB18GX10 30/20 & LL18GHX 30/20 Japan model), we encourage you to read Easton's release and contact them as soon as possible at 1-844-531-7079, or firstname.lastname@example.org, to return your bat and receive a $500 electronic voucher. There is additional detail on this return program in the below communication from Little League International.
As communicated previously per the Little League rule book this is now an illegal bat and as such the Easton Ghost X 30/20 5/8 (model #'s YBB18GX10 30/20 & LL18GHX 30/20 Japan model) is no longer approved for use at Brick Little League. These are the only Easton Ghost models covered by the 5/3/18 decertification that are now illegal and not approved for use at Brick Little League.
Easton Ghost X 30/20 2-5/8" Bat Decertified by USA Baseball
Please see the below communication from Little League International regarding decertification of a bat by USA Baseball. The bat in question is the Easton Ghost X 30/20 2-5/8".
Per the Little League rule book this is now an illegal bat and as such the Easton Ghost X 30/20 2-5/8" is no longer approved for use at Brick Little League. This is effective immediately.

Once a month the Brick Little League Board of Directors holds a General Membership Meeting. This meeting is held to inform all our members about the status and news about the League. Plus, the Board will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. This meeting is open to all parent[s]/guardian[s] and volunteers of Brick Little League. All are welcomed and encourage to attend.
The Brick Little League General Membership meetings are held the 3rd Sunday of every month at the Brick Little League Complex.
