Player Must Haves for Every Game
Every player must bring their team bag with the following in it:
- Small hand towel
- Extra pair of socks
- Game shoes
- Knee Pads
- If there are players with respiratory issues (asthma, bronchitis, etc.) please make sure that their pumps/medication are in their bags are parents are not allowed within the bench area
- *For all day tournaments, some players bring a bar of soap and a hand towel to wash up if they get too sweaty in between games
*Note: Athletes will need to be able to replenish electrolytes and regain energy between games. Players can drink the Gatorade Prime, Perform, and Recover drinks to help them in the games. Powerade is also a choice for some. Those are approved for young athletes to consume, as well, per Gatorade (I had a friend who is a nurse call and confirm this for me).
Also, snacks are good to eat between games. Fruit and granola bars are good sources of energy.
Whatever portable electronic device that they are going to need in order to keep them entertained at the tourneys where we will be in the gym all day. Electronic devices will not be used or played when players are supposed to be sitting down watching a game. If it is found that a player is using an electronic device, it will be taken up and returned to the parents at the conclusion of our last game of the tournament (which may not be that day).
