For the 2021 Season, 14U will have 3 teams:

We will have couple open practices:

  • 4/10/2021, Saturday, Kyle Park, Field #1, 10:00am-12:00pm.  You can arrive beginning at 9:45am.
  • 4/15/2021, Thursday, Kyle Park, Field #4, 6:30pm-8:00pm.  You can arrive beginning at 6pm.

 

Rosters should be set by 4/17/2021 based on the evaluations from the open practices.  The first game is expected to be around 5/20/2021.

 

 The girls building upon their softball experience in our 14U fastpitch league.

  • Our 14U league follows most of the NFHS rules for softball.  Many of the girls come from their Middle School team and follow these same rules.
  • The league this year will include a team from Huber Heights.  Due to lack of team from Miami Valley Softball League, additional organizations will be considered.
  • The expectation is to plan 10-12 games during the regular season
  • The season starts after the Middle School season is over for each team, so is most likely a staggered start in the middle of May.
  • In this league, we encourage Select players to join this Rec league, as long as they can make 75% of the Rec games.  Esp. at this level and given the short season, we push for girls to play as much softball as they can.
  • The season will be over by the 4th of July weekend, and will conclude with a single-elimination tournament.

 Tournament Notes: 

 

  • There is NOT a time limit on a Championship game.  All six innings will be played regardless of the time limit.
  • Times and locations may change.  Please check the links.  Links are live and will be updated as games are played.
  • Substitutions:  We have a rule update for tournament.  If a substitute is needed for the tournament, a player must be pulled up from lower division in the respective organization.  If you have 10 or more players, a substitution cannot be added to the roster.  Subs will bat last and sit our first on defense.  Subs cannot play pitcher or catcher.  The rule applies to 8U, 10U 12U & 14U softball.
