T318 - Visit the studios of CBS-2 Chicago for Weather Merit Badge Prerequisites - June 28, 2024

Troop 318 has a great opportunity to visit the studios of CBS-2 Chicago and meet with their Chief Meteorologist Albert Ramon and other weather team staff. They will be able to give us a behind the scenes tour and talk to scouts about careers in meteorology how human activity and weather affect each other and what to do when severe weather happens.

The visit is open to all scouts but if you are taking the Weather Merit Badge class at Ransburg this visit is for you! It will fulfill MB prerequisite #9B (visit with a meteorologist). Just in case a severe weather event happens & cancels our visit at the last minute it is recommended that as a backup you work on #9A (keep weather log build measuring instrument).
