Troop 318 will be participating in the
Chicago Labor Day Parade
Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 12PM.
The Chicago Labor Day Parade and Eddie Fest will be held in and around Pullman National Historical Park.
Scouts should meet at the beginning of the Chicago Labor Day Parade staging area at S. Cottage Grove and E. 108th. It will move south on S. Cottage Grove Avenue to E. 113th Street. It turns east on 113th Street then north on St. Lawrence Avenue to the Hotel Florence at the Pullman State Historic Site.
The parade participants will disperse at Eddie Fest near Hotel Florence.
Eddie Fest begins at 1:00 pm with an opening ceremony on stage. Eddie Fest, formerly known as Friends of Labor Fest, celebrates workers and the Chicago labor movement. Chicago has brought forth some of the greatest labor activists in the world - among them, Ed Sadlowski. Through the work of activists like Sadlowski and others throughout history, Chicago has been the driving force behind changes that have improved the lives of working people across generations. Eddie Fest will immediately follow, and be spread across Arcade Park and Pullman (George) Park and will include food and other entertainment.
