T318 - 2026 Ransburg Campership
Camperships provide life-changing camping experiences for Scouts who, because of financial challenges, may not otherwise be able to attend Ransburg Summer Camp. Troop 318 is making sure every Scout has the chance to go to camp, changing their lives through recreation, friendship, and experiences which will cultivate skills and values needed for success in the future.
Scouts who face financial challenges may be able to apply to Troop 318's Campership Program. This is due to the generosity of the of Scout Bucks program. Scout Bucks can only be used for scouting needs and revert back to the troop once a scout leaves the program. The Troop Committee decided that these funds should be available for those that have a need and desire to attend Camp Ransburg.
To be eligible, the following guidelines must be met by the youth applicant:
Registered within Orland Troop 318 and in good standing prior to completing an application.
Plan to attend Summer Camp at Camp Ransburg.
Applying for campership aid must be done online via the Orland Troop Website by April 30th to allow time for review and allocations. If approved, the campership amount will be applied to the cost of Camp Ransburg. If paying the early bird fee and being reimbursed is an issue, please contact Mr. Sandoval or Mr. Sullivan. It is critical that correct parent email addresses are given on the application, as this is the primary method of notification, or for any questions from the committee. The campership is to a specific individual and is not transferable to other youth.
Camperships are awarded based on need. The allocation process, and information used in it, is confidential and will not be shared outside of the campership allocations committee.
A Scout is Thrifty: A Scout works to pay his or her own way and help others. Camperships will not exceed 50% of the Early Bird rate.
Families with 2 or more scouts must fill out a form for each scout.
Please use the Parent/Family email address.
