| I found it pretty funny the way you held it together talking to yourself last season. So I figured I'd register maybe we can talk during the season. I played for Merton 74-80 and now live in Minnesota (West Central Part Of the State) Try to get back once a year for the Merton/Sussex game. Played 72-73 for Sussex.

I'm sure that you would know Jim Gasper and a bunch of others that I know. I play for Sussex so I know all of the old boys...

| Krusty, Played on the "73" Grand Championship Team. Yes I know Jimmy and all the oldtimers also. Tom Konkol has been a friend of mine for over 45 Yrs. Played 7 Yrs. W/ Merton Then called it quits. What position do you play? Haven't decided whether or not I will make the Sussex/ Merton game this yr. with gas prices as they are. I'll wait and see.

| Krusty..... How do you see this season going as far as standings go. Who are the contenders? I see Ocon. Sussex, Meno. Falls and Hartland fighting it out for 1ST. What's the deal with Merton, are they that bad or is it The fundamentals they are lacking?

| Satch, pretty cool that you were on that team. That team gets brought up quite a bit to this day. If our current squad we could do that, it would be a huge event for Sussex. The fans here are the best and want to see us succeed. Great following to every game that we play, I can't say enough about how much the LOL Team means to them and most of the support is a product of those teams from the 70's. Tommy Konkel is a great guy and loves baseball like nobody else that I know. He is a pretty good usher at St. James as well!
I play first base for our team but will play 3rd or outfield in a pinch. I'm the elder statesman on the team so it's usually first base (and I like it that way)...
There are quite a few teams that could win the West this year. Hartland and Men Falls might take a step back this year with the Brookfield Bulldogs and Pewaukee taking a step up. The Brookfield Blue Sox will be tough along with the usual suspects (Lannon...Oconomowoc). I'll never count Lannon out even though they get a year older every year! West Bend is going to be there again as well. If we keep it together defensively, we should be right there too. With so many good teams and only 6 playoff spots, it will be a battle all year.
I'll say Hi to the guys for you on Sunday. Will they know you as , 'Satch'? Talk to you soon...
