Victor Marks-Jenkins picked up another win at the Annual Franklin Fall Showcase (All Star) match!    This years event was held at a warehouse in Eldersburg instead of the normal school facilities and broadcast on Rokfin! 

Victor coming off a 2020 Usaw Western States Triple Crown in Utah this summer was matched up against Salah Tsarni the 2019 Usaw Kids National Freestyle champ!     Catch weight class of 103# victor held off a late surge with a 5-0 lead to win the contest 5-2!

also competing Chase Carnahan who lost a 2-0 decision!

Punisher Wrestling Club competed in Eldersburg over the weekend Vs CTW and CMD in a round robin style format - Junior League in Morning and Hs In the afternoon!

PWC places 20 in the top 3 of the first weekend of the Mjwl Winter Series including 8 champions!!!!

In the first session Coach Earl the Pearl steered the ship with a helping hand from Eric Warm placing the first 4 punishers of the day!   Derek Eppard, Steve Price and TJ Hammond all placed 2nd and Chase Warm brought home the championship banner.  And then the vanished into the carroll county fog to parts unknown!

Session two coach Rossi with some support from Big Steve Johnson got 3 out of the 4 Punishers to place in the days second session in Gavin Young placed 2nd while Wyatt Rossi and Cj Votta both took home titles!

Session 3 the spot light was on Coach Ryan Brown not to be confused with Ben Brown the referee / table worker worked some more magic getting titles out of Logan Johnson while Brendan Wunder placed 2nd with Izaiah Brown and Glenn Lail finished 3rd!

In the final session the before mentioned Coach Brown (not the ref brown) and Matt Kavanagh as was Wes C money Clarke were in attendance for the days final session!     Chase Swiger pulled out a title!   Jayden Diggs had a dominating day and knocked off a really good wrestler to take home his title!  Tristen Rich went 3-0 and took home a banner as well!   Victor Marks-Jenkins added 5 more wins to his season total and took home another title!  2nd place finishers Evan Clarke and Justin Kavanagh were impressive while Brandon Brown and Ryan Whisner placed 3rd!

Overall the Pwc ended the day in 2nd place as a team!

DAY 2 - PWC had a lot less wrestlers competing then on day 1 but continued its winning ways 

Session 5 saw Micheal Banks bring home a title captained by Wes Clarke while Zach Brown went 4-0 before having to medical default out to finish 2nd!

Session 6 a trio of Punishers took 3rd including Willie Bressner, Tanner Cooper and Arthur Konschak!

Session 7 all 4 punishers made the podium as Trevor Randolph took 3rd while Wayne Brooks and Bradley Lintz brought home silver and Eric Kapolchick brought home his first ever wrestling tournament title!

Session 8 Jacob Seigle placed 3rd to finish the day out!

ALL total 30 Punishers placed in the top 3 of there weight classes and the team finished 2nd!!!!!

PWC competed in the annual Punisher duals this weekend, Modified version where the Lightweights competed in the AM and the Heavyweights competed in the PM under a modified 7v7 format at CTW!

PWC RED won pool A in both the lightweight and heavyweight divisions!   And ended up 2nd to SMWC black in both divisions taking 2nd overall!

PWC BLUE placed 3rd in the lightweight divisoon.

12u Heavyweight team ran the table going 5-0 to win the championship going a combined 23-2 over the 5 duals.   Team wins over Manchester, Mjwl Fa, Ctw, HeadHunters and Warhawks.     Tristen Rich, Ben Schiener, and Victor Marks-Jenkins all went 5-0, Justin Kavanagh and Jayden Diggs went 4-1.

History was made today during the “Covid“ as MJWL hosted a High school season for those who lost their public and private school season!    The PWC who is a collection of East Baltimore Kids from 4-5 high schools have come together to train and get better!   Today they were rewarded with the first ever MJWL HS TEAM TITLE!
