KILDONAN ATHLETIC F.C 2014

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kildonan finally shake off their 4 game losing streak against Fort Rouge Fury at East St.Paul.
Fort Rouge had the majority of the chances in the first half. They worked the ball well to get into goal scoring opportunities but couldn't find the back of the net.

The deadlock was broken with Warren finding spacing 30 yards out. Having plenty of time he launched the ball toward net and caught the keeper off his line who back pedaled but couldn't keep the ball out of the net going into half.
Kildonan started out stronger in the 2nd half earning more chances with Jackson scoring his first of the year, thanks to a lay off from Sebastiaan.
Lyndon got his first of the year and third for Kildonan with a speculative shot that rolled through the defense and past the keeper.
3 goals woke up Fort Rouge who pressured and found the back of the net with a bad pass through the middle by defense.
The 4th came from new signing Kyle. Daniel on the wing fought to win the ball and passed to Kyle who had 2 defenders to beat. Using his speed he broke for the short side and shot with the outside of his foot  to beat the keeper and go up to 4.
A harsh call of handball in the box gave Fort Rouge a penalty shot which the shooter hit wide of the net.

Fort Rouge added a 2nd but couldn't come back and Kildonan earned their 3rd win of the year.
Next up is Hardly Athletic on Wednesday the 16th who are looking for their first win of the year.
