KAFC were undone by 2 first half goals as they fell to the 4th ranked United Punjab, 3-1 in the first round of the playoffs.
United struck first, a long range, 30 yard shot that hung in the air and landed just underneath the crossbar despite Devin's attempts to get it.
Justin drew the score level with his 16th of the season.
Just before half, an unmarked United player ran to the far post and met a cross with ease to get it past Devin and go up 2-1.
Despite constant pressure, Kildonan couldn't break down United and they struck for their 3rd that rattled off the inside of the post and into the net.
Despite the loss and the tough end to the season, this had been one of the more competitive teams for KAFC in years. A strong backline lead by Amp and Jackson was helped by Jeff, Chris, & Santiago as the season progressed and injuries hit Andreas and others.
Most of the team will be participating at Canlan for the winter and pre-season will get started some time in March.

KAFC blow 3 goal lead to lose 4-3
Despite going into the 2nd half with a 2 goal advantage, thanks to PK from Justin and a beautiful one-timer shot by Alex, KAFC fell apart in the 2nd half, losing 4-3 at Shaftsbury.
Pat gave Kildonan a 3 goal advantage with a specualative cross to the far post that the keeper mis-handled and allowed it to drop in the net.
Malik was judged to bring down a FCK attacker in the box, awarding them a pk and the shooter made no mistake, shortening the gap to two.
Iron man Amp, who has led the backline all season was withdrawn due to an injury which seemed to be KAFC's undoing. Things fell apart and FCK stormed back with another 2 goals to tie it up.
Amp went back on but a quick throw in by FCK found an unmarked attacker who headed the ball past devin for what was the game winning goal.
A disappointing match that allowed FCK to get more points to reach first place, and set KAFC back with their second straight loss of the season.
Next up is Manitoba United at Shaftsbury H.S., Aug 31st with a 6:30 pm kick off.
Kildonan defeated Stingray 3-1 on Thursday night to keep their title hopes alive.
After a disappointing loss to Elmwood, conceding a season high 5 goals in one game, Kildonan needed to beat Stingray to continue pressure on the top spot.
2 minutes in against a 10 man stingray, Aye got his first of the season, a quick shot in the 18 yd box that caught the keeper off guard.
KAFC kept the lead until the 2nd half when a Stingray player pounced on a long range shot that went low and just inside the post to beat devin and tie it up at 1.
Justin responded with his 12th of the year, a headed effort that beat the defense and keeper. A few chances went wide, Jay missing an open net on a header, and Alex, returning from injury missed a simple tap in of a low cross that was put wide of the bar instead.
Skye continued to cause problems for the Stingray defence and was rewarded with a PK when brought down in the box. Skye stepped up but shot it wide of the post.
Skye got his reward 15 mins. later. With Stingray now reduced to 9 men due to injury, Skye took the ball down the left side and slotted it past the keeper on the far post to have a final score of 3-1.

Unbeaten streak goes to 10
Kildonan extended their unbeaten streak to 10 games with a win over P.F.C, Thursday night at CMU and a tie with Stingray FC on the 26th.
P.F.C came to the game with 9 men and Kildonan applied pressure from the beginning to test their keeper. Fallou got the first of the game off a header, followed by Justin's 10th goal of the season on a penalty shot.
Max added two more goals to round out the scoring and make it 4 goals in 2 games.
Stingray FC was a bigger test. KAFC only had 13 guys due to injuries while Stingray arrived with 17 guys.
Kildonan was limited in their chances and didn't test their keeper too much, while Stingray consistently hit the ball wide and over the top of the net. Stingray's 2 good chances both rattled off the post, while KAFC chances were stopped by the Stingray keeper.
Late in a 2nd half, appeals for a penalty shot were denied as Skye made a run into the box swarmed by 3 defenders. The foul was given but the ref judged it to be outside the box.
KAFC was happy with the point and look to take on United Punjab on Thursday, 730 pm at CMU.
Kildonan extend unbeaten streak to 3
Kildonan extended their unbeaten streak to 3 games, but were unable to make it 3 wins in a row as Fort Rouge ensured they ended the game with a tie.
Despite Collins getting his 3rd of the season, beating the Fort Rouge keeper on the far side, Fort Rouge tied it up early in the 2nd half.
Collins got his 4th of the season and 2nd of the game, while weaving through 4 Fury defenders and beating the Keeper on the short side. It didn't take long for Fort Rouge to get back into the game and tie it up.
A fair result as both teams were limited with chances. Next up is SJR at their home field, Thursday June 1st, 7:30 pm.
Kildonan unbeaten in 8 games

Next up is P.F.C the only team to beat Kildonan the first game of the season.
Kildonan took on 2nd place FCK with 2 subs and hot weather and extended their unbeaten streak to 4 games as the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
Kildonan got onto the board first. A warren free kick from 40 yards out found an unmarked Justin who headed it in to the near post giving the keeper no chance.
Kildonan earned more of the corner kicks in the first half and played well not allowing FCK to have runs at net.
FCK bounced back with 2 soft goals in the 2nd half and KAFC didn't give up. With constant pressure, a through ball to Justin saw him taken down in the box and awarded a penalty kick. Justin made no mistake and tied the game up.
Some close calls with Devin keeping the score level, Kildonan couldn't break the deadlock and had to settle for the tie.
2 games next week, Tuesday and Thursday against United Punjab on Tuesday and Fort rouge on Thursday.
Disappointing first start
Kildonan took on a late showing P.F.C but were outdone by a goal in each half to be handed a loss in their opening match.
Fielding 6 players from last year, Kildonan will continue to work to function more cohesive as a team. P.F.C got their first goal with a fast forward weaving between Phil and Amp and made no mistake going one on one with Devin.
The 2nd goal was created by very fast PFC strikers who kept the defense on their toes. The final nail in the coffin when youngster Santiago was shown a straight red for pulling the PFC attacker back just outside the box.
Kildonan will regroup and play against the younger Stingray FC, Tuesday, May 31st at St.John's Ravenscourt.-400 Southdrive.
