The 2015 Season will wrap up within the next month, which means that preparations for the Spring 2016 Season are already underway. The most important event of October will be the Meeting to ELECT the VOLUNTEERS that will ORGANIZE & OPERATE YOUR LEAGUE FOR YOUR CHILDREN IN 2016. Each FAMILY that had a child play in either the Spring or Fall 2015 Season is entitled to ONE VOTE. Please take a few minutes out of your busy lives to elect the people you trust to speak for the way you would like to see the league being run. There will be 9 Openings, including 7 for current members up for re-election. That means we will have at least 2, maybe more NEW MEMBERS for 2016!! The lifeblood of any volunteer organization is its VOLUNTEERS!!! New Board Members bring new & fresh ideas and are invaluable to the growth and future of the League. | Tony D Mayor to Honor Holbrook October 12, 2015 4:23:56 PM Entry ID: 2068875 | Holbrook Little League is very proud to announce that Mayor Michael Reina will honor our 10yr old Mid-Atlantic Champion Baseball All-Stars as well as our 3 time District 18 "LITTLE LEAGUE" - 12 yr old Champion Softball All-Stars on Tues, October 13th at 7:30pm at the START of the Town Council Meeting. While we can't speak for the rest of the agenda before the Town Council that night, this is something that all of the Township should support!! Congrats to our Girls & Boys!! Great Job!! |

Coaches will have envelopes to distribute before Saturday or you can pick them up at the concession stand or on Sat at the photo site. Pictures will be taken INSIDE the building in the batting cages, rain or shine.....Please see the MESSAGE BOARD or the HOLBROOK facebook page for the schedule... NO ONE is obligated to take pictures but it would be nice if all players were in the Team Photo that the managers and coaches get... This is a fundraiser for the league and the more pictures taken, the more money Holbrook raises and the more memories are made for the kids!! We appreciate your support . Thanks!! |

We will use USABL/Travel Ball age requirements - meaning no player can turn calendar age 11, prior to April 30 2016. We will be placed in the most competitive USABL/Tournament divisions, serious interest only. Try-outs will be held Sunday October 18, and again on Sunday November 1. Field and time TBD. | Tony D FallBall Opening Day September 18, 2015 8:18:06 AM Entry ID: 2068354 | FallBall Opening Day is here tomorrow, Saturday September 19th. We will have a brief parade and ceremony at 10am and Games will start at 11:30 for most divisions. Some teams may not play due to an uneven amount of teams in their division. Coaches should have contacted all of the players by now and most divisions have their completed schedules. All schedules will be completed and uploaded to the website as soon as all of the team names have been assigned and reported. Thank You for once again being part of Holbrook Little League and supporting our children and league. And thank you all for your patience. Keep in mind that FallBall is a "training" season and the emphasis should be on learning the game and having fun. Wins and losses are not recorded and their are NO championships to strive for. PLAY BALL!! |

Starting on Opening Day 9-19-2015 we will be accepting Non-Perishable Food Items. Our list has suggestions such as: Ready To Eat Meals, Canned Tuna, Canned Fruits, Canned Ham, Canned Vegatables, Juice Boxes, Hot and Cold Cerals, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Instant Potatoes, Soups, Rices, Pasta, Pancake Mix and Syrup. Please consider donating something when you come to the fields. We are acceting monetary donaions as well. Please make checks payable to Food Bank Of Monmouth and Ocean County.
