The Major Baseball Reds completed the sweep of the Championship Series with a 12-5 victory over the Phillies on Saturday. Gavin Bonitz, with a first inning HomeRun set the stage for the potent Reds offense. Steve Bianchino improved his pitching record to 11-0. And Dom Cataldo made the defensive play of the game worthy of an ESPN TOP 10, with a catch and backward somersault in right field!! The Reds finished the season 20 -0, the most wins ever in an unbeaten season... WOW!! (Haha.. PATRIOT (19-1) fans, you have NOTHING on the HOLBROOK REDS!!!) All 10 year olds currently playing in Majors are eligible for tryouts. For players in the Minor Division, each coach will recommend three players per team to participate in the tryout. These names will be forwarded to the selection committee in advance. To be eligible, players must be either 9 or 10 years old as of December 31, 2014. Good luck !!! |

The lists will then be posted in the Fieldhouse and in our new Information Kiosk located near the main gate entrance by 5PM. The Major M.I.T Team will also be announced tomorrow.The 11yr old District Team will be announced in the same manner on Monday June 15th. |

Awarded to Students from Jackson Memorial and Jackson Liberty High Schools, who have played at least 5 years at Holbrook and are graduating with at least a 3.0 GPA and will be attending a college in the fall, we were very proud to present: Matt Crispe, Thomas Freyre, Billy Mitchell, Matt Pinto, Steven Pizzolongo and Jimmy Plaganis. The Scholarship Awards are run by the Jackson Township Scholarship Fund. The students apply for the awards they believe they are eligible for. the Holbrook Board of Directors review the applicants, verify their eligibility and make the tough decision to vote on 5 or 6 out of a potential 20 nominees. These 6 young men filled all of the requirements and are well deserving. We wish all of the nominees and all of the Jackson Township graduates Good Luck and much success with their futures!! |
