The Fall season will begin on Saturday 9/17 and extend until Saturday 11/5. Enjoy 2 months of baseball & softball before the Holidays & Winter months set in. Fall is when we move most of the players up a division to where they will play the following Spring. Its a great, non pressure season to get your baseball & softball players more playing time and exposure to more training!!... For those of you looking for a more competitive baseball schedule, inquire about our CFBL teams!! If you played on an All-Star or Tournament team, this is where you want to play. Lets carry over the Spring All-Star success into Fall & help us defend last years 4 CFBL Championships!!.... | Tony D Mens League Championship August 22, 2016 11:22:18 AM Entry ID: 2077787 | The Bald Eagles won the 2016 Holbrook Mens League Championship with a close 7-6 victory over the Trojans on Sunday.... Chris Russo started the Eagles on their way with a 3-run homerun in the 4th. Down 6-3, Bryan Johnston hit a Grand Slam Homerun to put the Eagles ahead 7-6 in the top of the 7th. Danny Serreino got the save in relief of Joe Reale who got the win.... Congratulations to the team made up mostly of former Holbrook LL, JLL & Jackson Memorial HS players... Ryan Allen, Bobby Brown, Jake Byford, Mike Cantalino, Brandon Holup, Corey Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Bryan Johnston, Matt Meleo, John Mucia, Joe Reale, Chris Russo, Danny Serreino & Clayton Smarslok. |

| Tony D 11's - State Champs!! August 11, 2016 12:47:43 PM Entry ID: 2077408 | Holbrook 11's are 2016 NJ State Baseball Champions!!!... With a solid 7-0 Win over Millville on Wed night, the Holbrook 11 yr old All-Stars were crowned the 2016 NJ State Little League Baseball Champions!!... Garret Drew started and got his second consecutive State Tournament win!! RJ Vashey closed the game out to preserve the shutout.... In a tight, well played defensive game by both sides, the score was 0-0 after 3 innings. Holbrook scored 3 in the 4th and 1 in the 5th to take a 4-0 lead.... Charlie Meglio lead off the 6th with a monster solo shot to left, and Vashey drove in 2 runs with a double to break the game open and put Holbrook up 7-0.... This was Holbrook's second win over Millville in the States by a combined 25-0 score..... Since 11yr olds don't advance past States, they become the first team in the 54yr History of Holbrook LL to WIN its last Little League Tournament game and thus become the "last team standing".... Something only 1 team gets to claim at every age division..... The HOLBROOK BASEBALL 11's.....DISTRICT 18, SECTION 3 & NJ STATE CHAMPIONS are.... Holbrook's 2016 11 yr old District 18 & Section 3 Champions will play for the NJ State Championship on Wednesday Night at 7pm in Sayreville!! Our boys will be playing Millville LL whom we beat on Sunday night 18-0!!... This could be the very first time in the 54 year History of Holbrook Little League that a District All-Star team ENDS the All-Star Tournament season on a WIN!!... Please come out to Sayreville Little League to support our team as they attempt to make Holbrook LL History!!... Wear the Holbrook Red and cheer on our team!!... Its a short 40 minute drive. For GPS... use 80 Margaret St. (The city will come up as Parlin....) Take Route 9 North to Ernston Rd. Make jug handle going west. Go about a mile to Washington Rd. Holbrook 11's won their first game of the NJ State Championships on Saturday night after a 1 1/2 hour delayed start, 6-2 over Ramsey.... Strong pitching from RJ Vashey and Dean Daddio secured the win! Our boys can use support from the Holbrook Faithfull tonight so that we can even the playing field of vocal fans .vs the Millville bleachers!!... Directions: 80 Margaret St. Take 9 north to Ernston Rd. Make jug handle going west. Go About a mile to Washington rd. Make right to Margaret St. Fields on right side a half block on right. 80 Margaret St will come ups as Parlin and NOT Sayreville, but that is the place!! |

| Tony D Holbrook 11's July 24, 2016 3:57:41 PM Entry ID: 2076664 | Holbrook 11's got off to a hot start today with an 8-4 win over Middletown in Game 1 of the Section 3 Tournament!.... Holbrook scored 3 in the first with 2 outs, highlighted by an RJ Vashey double! Charlie Meglio hit a solo HR in 2nd and Holbrook held a 4-0 lead until the 4th. Middletown fought back with a 2 run HR (only 2 runs-and hit that Garret Drew gave up). Chris Andrews came in to pitch in the 5th with the bases loaded & 2 outs, and held Middletown to one run to make it 4-3. Holbrook broke the game open scoring 4 in top 6, with a big Andy Osmond 2 run double off the right field fence! Andrews shut down Middletown again in the 6th, giving up 1 run and closing out the game for the win!!... Game 2 vs Oldbridge on Tuesday night at 6pm!! Great job boys!! |

July 24, 2016 12:31:55 PM Entry ID: 2076663 | ....and then there was 1 ...The reality of every All-Star and Tournament Season is that there is only one team left standing at the end.... With Holbrook's dominance of the District 18 Championships....... 10 & 12 yr old Softball. 10, 11, 12 & Junior (13-14) Baseball.......... a 3-peat Barnegat Tourney Championship and 3rd place finishes in the Major MIT & 8yr Old Machine Pitch Tournaments...it is appropriate that the team that went the furthest of any Holbrook team ever, last years 10yr olds who were 1 pitch removed from being the Eastern Region Champions (equivalent to 12 yr old and older World Series Champions), are the last team still playing!!... Our 11yr olds are the Team of the day and the rest of the Month as they start the 11yr old Section 3 Championships today at noon at Sunnybrae LL in Hamilton in their quest to repeat as NJ State Champions!!... Good Luck Boys...all of Holbrook's eyes turn to you!! |
| Tony D Holbrook 8's July 24, 2016 12:15:14 PM Entry ID: 2076662 | Holbrook's 8yr Olds, the youngest of our Tournament teams were eliminated form the Toms River Machine-Pitch Tournament 2-1 in 8 innings last night to Brick LL. In a great defensively played game, our boys held their own and played well enough to advance, but in a 1 game elimination tournament, it wasn't meant to be..... Congrats to our boys for making us proud and we know they will be back with Championships in their future. This is the 3rd year that Holbrook hasn't won this tournament, and those 2014 & 2015 teams went on to win the Barnegat Tournament as 9yr olds and the 2014 team were this years 10 yr old District Champions, so we know good things can still come from tough losses!.... Thank you to the coaches for their dedication throughout this month long post-season. The efforts shown by the players is a result of the coaching..... Thanks also to the parents, who in experiencing their first of many Holbrook post seasons gave their commitments to the league, the team and their boys!... Thanks again to Toms River LL for hosting and for their hospitality during this Tournament. |

| Tony D Baseball10's July 23, 2016 7:51:49 AM Entry ID: 2076611 | Holbrook's Baseball 10's lost a tough one 12-6 tonight to Nottingham in the Section 3 Finals and were eliminated. Our boys jumped out on top in the first, 3-2 on a 2 run homer by Nicky Mellino and a solo shot by Ray Lehmann! But Nottinghams bats were hot again tonight and they jumped out on top 10-3 in the 3rd and never looked back... Our boys never quit and it looked like they may have another amazing comeback in them when they loaded the bases in the last 2 innings but weren't able to score more than 3 to make the final 12-6....A great team with great heart, they never quit and thrilled us along the way! Thanks and congrats on a great tournament to the coaches and the boys. You made Holbrook proud and we look for big things from you guys in the coming years! |

Our boys have played a great tournament and were undefeated until Wed night,as was JLL... Unfortunately, the MIT Tournament is set up as a single elimination in the playoff rounds and both teams were eliminated from Championship contention. We know that our boys will be playing for personal and township pride tonight as we're sure that Jackson will be, too. Should be a tough battle and we wish our boys good luck as they have given us great effort in this run and we are very proud of them!! ...Lets GO HOLBROOK!! |
