Please arrive early for the Opening Ceremony. 2) Please "ENTER" the parking lot from the SOUTH side, and EXIT from the NORTH side. Otherwise, there will be log jams and chaos. Families are asked to only bring 1 car. DO NOT SPEED!!! 3) If you're dropping kids off, have them exit the car on the side of the building or fields. 4) You can park by the Bartley Road softball fields but do not park in spaces designated for the "KNIGHT of COLUMBUS"...you will be TOWED. Take extra CAUTION when crossing Bartley Rd. 5) If you park on Bartley Road, DO NOT block our neighbors driveways, DO NOT park on the grass,& you MUST stay within the white shoulder lines. Fail to do any of these & you will be TICKETED. 6) DO NOT PARK in the Board Member lot to the right of the building, you will be BLOCKED IN ALL DAY. 7) Please watch your children in the parking lot and the street. Lets all be safe and have a successful Opening Day!! |

The parade will enter through the centerfield fence of the Major Field. The parade order will be.... T-Ball, Minor A, Softball Farm, Softball Minors, Minor AA, Minor AAA, Softball Majors, Baseball Majors, Softball Seniors, Baseball Juniors... Please follow Board member directions to where the teams will line up.... In addition to honoring Coach Jim Furlong, we will honor and recognize the accomplishments of our Spring 2015 All-Star Championship Teams... The 9yr old Barnegat Tournament Back-to-Back Champions... The 10yr old District 18 3-Peat Softball Champions... The 12yr old District 18 3-Peat Champions & Section 3 Runnerups... The 10yr old Mid-Atlantic Champions & Eastern Region runnerups!! We will also present our Annual Frank Mitchell Sportsmanship Award, awarded to the 12yr old Baseball Player who best exemplifies the Spirit of Little League Sportsmanship. Games will begin at either 11:30 or 12 noon depending on your division. All Coaches should be aware of the new start times by now. Jim has managed the Major League Baseball Dodgers for 42 years.... This Saturday at our OPENING DAY CEREMONIES, Holbrook LL will show our appreciation, and honor Jim for his dedication to the thousands of players and coaches that he has mentored and coached for over 4 decades and 3 generations.... Every once in a while, we get the chance to give back and thank our volunteers, and Jim Furlong is deserving of each and every accolade he will receive.... Please join us on Saturday at 10am and join us to say "Thank You, Coach Jim". |

The instructor was very knowledgeable and kept the class moving along very nicely. I urge any Manager, Coach, Parent to keep a look out for the next training class. It was the best $25.00 I spent in quite a while. Again thank you John and Holbrook for getting this put all together. |

| John B CPR Training April 4, 2016 4:40:22 PM Entry ID: 2072716 | Holbrook Little League is holding a First Aid/CPR/AED class this Wednesday night, from 5:30-9:30 upstairs in the field house. We have 8 spots left. If interested, contact John Braun at 732-947-1411. The cost is $25 dollars per person to receive certification in all three. Certification is good for 2 years and is through the American Safety and Health Intitute, which meets all American Heart Association requirements. If you tell us you are interested, you MUST attend as spots are limited and we'll be holding yours for you. You must be there by 5:30 and stay for the entire class in order to receive certification. If the response is good enough, we will schedule additional classes in the future. This is open to all coaches, umpires, and Holbrook families. |

Tomorrow night, Tuesday, April 5 at 7:30pm upstairs at Holbrook, we will hold the make-up class for those of you that missed it two weeks ago. This will be the ONLY make-up class. Please get their by 7:15. If you haven't already submitted one, please print and bring a coach application from the website as everybody that steps foot on the field with the children must be background checked. MAJOR SOFTBALL TRYOUT TIMES....... GROUP A - 9:00 AM - 12 YEAR OLDS........ GROUP B - 10:00 AM - 11 YEAR OLDS..... GROUP C - 12:00 PM - 10 YEAR OLDS.... All Softball players ages 10 - 12 and not already returning to the Major team they played for last year, should have received a tryout number and time to report. Anyone still needing to register should arrive at the beginning of your childs tryout session so that we can add her to the list. Please don't miss out!! As with baseball, the Major Division is the most competitive and once the teams are drafted, no players will be added. |
