| Tony D 10yr old All-Stars July 21, 2015 12:10:03 PM Entry ID: 2066403 | Holbrook's 10yr old District 18 Champions started the Section 3 Playoffs as HOT as the temperature!! Our boys downed North Wall 16-4, as JR Osmond started the offensive attack with a first inning 2 run homerun!! Tai Mann was 4 for 4 as Holbrook continued its hot hitting!! Game 2 tonight versus a very tough Middletown team at 8PM in Sayreville. GPS address is 1 Margaret St Parlin, NJ. Come out and support our boys!! |
| Tony D 11yr old All-Stars July 21, 2015 11:52:34 AM Entry ID: 2066402 | The Holbrook 11yr old All-Stars finished Pool Play 4 - 0 with an 11-1 win over Toms River last night. Jonny Sefick got the win and went 3-3 with his First Home Run and 3RBI!! Jake Hickman and Devin Foderaro each had 2 doubles!! Gavin Bonitz went 2-2 with 3RBI as Holbrook locked up the First Seed in their pool!! Next up, our boys start the one game elimination playoffs on Wednesday night in Berkeley vs Brick LL at 7pm. Lets all take a ride down the parkway to cheer on our boys!! |

The 8U team, our youngest boys, won 13 -7 over Beechwood in the Toms River Machine Pitch Tournament to remain undefeated and advance to the semi-finals to be played at Toms River LL on Thursday at 6pm!! | Tony D Softball 10's July 21, 2015 11:33:24 AM Entry ID: 2066400 | Holbrook's 10yr old District 18 Softball Champions lose in Section 3 Playoffs...Our girls played their hearts out in losing two 1 run games. Last night they rallied back and with 2 outs in the 6th, had the tying run called out at the plate to come up short, 10-9 versus Lincroft LL. Great run by a great group of girls that we are very proud of and will be a team to watch in the coming years!! Thanks to the girls and coaches for a fun ride!! :) |

Up 4-2 with two outs in the bottom 6th, the 3B for North Howell LL hit his second homer of the game, a 3 run walk-off shot to left field!! Ryan Rankin pitched another gem. The boys played a great series and we're very proud of them!! Had a fun 2 weeks coaching these boys who gave their all every game!! |

Check the schedule and come down to catch a game. John Mucia's Bald Eagles, and Eric Bellino's Trojans are both still undefeated halfway through the season! It is great to come out and watch these guys play!! |

The bats stayed hot as the boys scored over 11 runs for the 3rd consecutive game, highlighted by a 3 Run Home Run by Ryan Rankin in the first inning!! Our boys play North Howell on Monday at 6pm, in the 8 team single elimination round. Good Luck boys!! |

This team has been working hard through 2 tournaments since June 15th and we are very proud of them!! Thanks to the coaches for their dedication and efforts to the boys for over a month!! |

Dylan Suojanen pitched a complete game as the Holbrook bats pounded out 6 runs on 7 hits in the first inning before taking a 12-0 lead in the 4th. |

Todd is an inspiration to all Ocean County and District 18 Little League Baseball Players for having won the Little League World Series in 1998 as a member of the Toms River East "Beast from the East" team. Every All-Star player has the dream of getting to Williamsport and becoming a Major League Player. Todd has accomplished both!! And while this is a rare occurence, all players should strive to be their best, every game, every practice. Because YOU can be next!! |

It may not have the same "buzz" as a 12yr old Championship Game, but you can bet that both teams will come to play and try their best to win the Championship. The fact that it is ANOTHER Holbrook - Toms River match up in a long running rivalry, is worth the price of admission alone!!.......... We get very few CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES to HOST and it would be great to flood the stands with Holbrook "RED" shirts from all the players, coaches, parents and Board Members who aren't involved in other games. Not asking anyone to travel to Toms River or even the Justice Complex, just to our own backyard!!....... Please get the word out to as many people as possible!! Lets cheer these boys on thru Districts, Sections, States and Rhode Island for an experience they will never forget!! |
