Come out to Holbrook on Sunday at 1pm to see them try to secure the #1 seed when they take on Toms River East American!! Way to go boys!! Boost |
| Tony D All-Star Updates July 3, 2015 10:50:32 AM Entry ID: 2065767 | All-Star Updates: Wed 7/1: 1) Holbrook Softball 10's won their first District game 10-4 and play for the D18 Championship tonight in Manchester!! 2) The Holbrook 12's beat TREN 13-2. Jacob Tafrow hit 3 HOMERUNS and pitched the team to his second win of the All-Star season!! 3) The Holbrook Juniors won an exciting game 9-7 over Stafford behind the hitting and pitching of closer Kevin Ritz!! Thurs 7/2: 4) The Holbrook Juniors won their second game in a row with a big 16-6 win over Toms River!! 5) Holbrook Softball 11's lost their first District game to Manchester, 12-5 but will look to bounce back in Game 2 on Tues July 7th at Bartley!! 6) Holbrook 10's were rained out in Stafford and will play tonight at Jackson LL's Justice Turf #2 at 7pm. June 29, 2015 11:56:35 AM Entry ID: 2065638 | The Holbrook 12's won their 2nd pool play game on Saturday 8-6 against Toms River East American. 3Run Homeruns in the first inning for Brandon Kinsman and Sebastian Marc wiped out a 3-0 deficit, and Holbrook never looked back. Jacob Tafrow added a solo shot later in the game. Timmy Lentini and Carl Barth pitched and got the win and the save for Holbrook. The boys play again tonight against Brick LL (Cherry Quay) in Brick at 7pm. |

Strong pitching by Dean Daddio and RJ Vashey held back the Jackson rally once Holbrook went ahead after going behind 3-0 in the early innings. Our boys play again on Tuesday at Toms River East LL versus TREN. |

All 2015 League Age 7 & 8 yr olds who played in Minor AA this season and 8's who played in Minor AAA are eligible to tryout. Jacob Tafrow pitched a complete game, yielding just 3 hits and striking out 5 in 4 innings.Tim Lentini's long, walk-off 2 run homer ended the game in the 4th. Our boys are back at Holbrook on Saturday at 10am versus Toms River East American. Come out and support our 12's!! |

The Wildcats Won the Softball Championship at the Berkeley Blaze Tournament this weekend!! The girls went 4-0, and pitched 2 shutouts and only gave up 5 runs the entire tournament...as the offense produced 33 runs!! Pitchers Abby Stanberry and Gabriella Panebianco split MVPs in the qualifying round. Abby was named MVP for the tournament... The 10U Wildcats are:...Christina Amatulli, Emily Gordon, Brianna Halasnik, Cassie Koslowski, Kylie LaGravenis, Alexa Mauriello, Reese Miller, Gabriella Panebianco, Abby Stanberry and Gianna Vollaro. Coaches are: Melanie & Brian Panebianco and Mike Miller. Great Job Girls!! |

June 20, 2015 7:35:52 PM Entry ID: 2065309 | The Holbrook Intermediate -50/70 District All-Stars fought back from 5-0 and 7-3 deficits to beat Brick 8-7 today at Brick LL. Alex Furlong hit a 3 run homer in the 3rd inning to start the comeback. Lucas Strong hit a ball off the fence in the 4th that would have tied the game at 6, but runners had to hold and Holbrook left the bases loaded and lost a golden opportunity to cut into the 6-3 deficit. Jimmy Harley with a long solo shot in the 5th, made the game 7-4, and set the stage for the win!! Fighting back against a tough pitcher, the boys tied the game with no outs and with bases loaded, Lucas Strong ripped a base hit up the middle, past a drawn in infield for the walk-off hit!! Great comeback for the boys as they advance into the winners bracket on Monday at Lacey LL. Come out and support our boys!! Good Luck on Monday!! |
